Despite some issues and a good bit of jank, this has become one of my all-time favorites that I'm always in the mood to play (which is pretty rare for me). The aesthetics and atmosphere are unmatched, plus it's just a very fun loot rat simulator.

They had a huge opportunity here to re-add so much of the cut content from the 1999 and 2000 builds. Macworld Halo has so much cool shit. Instead we got a clearly rushed remake where I kept seeing stupid stuff from the friendly/enemy AI like this: youtu.be/2IDJTdRE0aI

Very impressive reimagining of Halo: CE's best level, this time with multiple paths, secrets, and a lot of areas that felt very Halo 2-inspired. I loved it, took me nearly 2 hours to beat it with a friend. (also sorry I haven't posted in a while...) steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/...

I've been really enjoying this spin-off despite it not sharing much in common with previous Carmageddons, it's a fun mix of vehicular combat racing and a roguelite. It reminds me a lot of Full Auto (2006) and the movie Death Race.

Anthem (2019-2026, BioWare Edmonton/Austin) Revisited it over the last few days to say goodbye since the servers are shutting down today. It's such a shame since the core gameplay is so good, flying around in a game has never felt better. So much potential wasted by abandoning it.

This dev (Celeritas Games) can't seem to handle criticism and abuses Steam's ban system, so I won't share screenshots of their games again. Also surely it's against Steam's TOS to say you won't develop a new map unless you get 50 positive reviews, right?

I am so, so glad this ended up being worth the 13 year wait! Highly recommended, especially if you're a fan of Alien: Isolation. It's a contender for my GOTY, my only complaint is that I want more.

I loved the demo so much I beat it 4 times in a row. Day one buy for me now. Felt kinda like Dead Space (without the horror) mixed with a little bit of The Surge (mostly the setting of the first one, which I love), and I really liked the hacking minigame part of the combat.

It's more of a spin-off than a direct successor to the originals but I'm having a lot of fun with it. Co-op FPS that's a mix of the newer DOOMs + Left 4 Dead, with the aesthetics and weapons of the original Painkiller. If anyone is interested I wrote a review: steamcommunity.com/id/Akelaphob...
