unplugging it & plugging it back in seemed to fix it? there was a weird abberation where the bottom of my screendeck would "fold"? like, the last 2-5 % of the screen would "fall off" then id move my hand down, & the cursor would go UP? anyway hope that doesnt come back holy shit

It feels like around others I empty myself of any purpose or direction except “play nice.” I cannot delegate. I cannot ask others “host a voice call for me to be present & go nonverbal while I stream my art to the group chat” like I had access to a long time ago I am adrift, & often merry about it.

I have experienced some things, such as body painting or doing murals of chalk & spray paints alongside others & I have been the impetus behind a lot of drawpiles Yet for all my efforts, I cannot seem to “click” with anyone outside my shadow to reach certain aesthetics or states of mind.

Body doubling always sounds like a good idea but I can’t seem to totally pull the mask off to just focus on art. So much of my art is in a fugue state. I listen to an angry Turkish man yell the news at me or a bit fruity & then I come out the other side with something pretty.

I had a nice, if exhausting day. Not much happened. Just worked out, cleaned up, cooked, & bounced on it for a while when I wasn't muscling through Engage out of spite. Now the dawn is coming & I realize I have nothing to wake up for as urgently as I did today to prep my meal. Hmm.

Disappointed my roast wasn't all that & a bag of crisps. Nothing like learning the process all over again. Only, the cuts are 4x more expensive than they were in 2019. That's interesting. At least my equipment works to satisfaction. The textures & temperature were just splendid. Yaaawn
