🏳️‍⚧️The EHRC Code of Practice on trans rights coming into force on the 5th of August. 👎The guidance says that trans women should be excluded from women’s facilities they have been using for years, including toilets. This is discriminatory and will potentially harm ALL women.

Today we honour the Windrush Generation and their lasting contribution to Britain. Members of the Windrush Generation were wrongly treated as illegal immigrants - losing jobs, homes, and access to healthcare. Some were detained or even removed from the country. At the end of 2025, 118 million people were forcibly displaced by persecution, violence or conflict. Around 45 million were children. The UK hosts 8% of displaced refugees in Europe, compared with 20% in Germany and 15% in France. This Refugee Week, let's stand alongside those seeking safety.
