Finally shout out to #MetroLA for designing such a beautiful station! I knew I was going to be out late but #Glendorastation was so well lit and designed it felt no different coming back at night than when I walked out when there was light out. Everyone enjoy these new stations! I certainly will!

Since I was at Glendora station… I just had to stop head over to #Donutman! It was a bit more of a walk than I expected. But also was kinda glad for. 😂. Luckily, I was able to catch a ride on #FoothillTransit on the way back! Comfiest seats in Transit & only 75¢!

Speaking of homecoming… Porkchop Fried Rice!! Of course, I had to go grab a bite by one of the new #ALine stations & a short walk from Glendora station is #JiaYanDumplingHouse. They specialize in #XLB and have the most unique take on Shu Mai! They also carry bottles of Arctic Ocean. 🥰

La Verne Fairplex Station, did a little mapping and it turns out this station is actually closer to the Expo halls!! It’s also not far from one of my favorite Yarn Shops… #BukuYarns! So while it’s a little sparse around the station… it’s likely going to be my most used stop!

Dommy G! @dommygonzalez.bsky.social · 20/09/2025

Made it!! All in all it took me about an hour and half to make it to #PomonaStation from the #SunnyBungalow. Taking a look at the walking directions, it’s about a 30-40 walk to Fairplex Expo Halls, where in November I be going to the #SoCalFiberFest! Because of gawking, I got one repeat done.

Not quite Surfliner views on the way to Irwindale Station…. But still lovely at Sunset.

Passing by old favorites! Our home last year at Cypress/Lincoln Heights stop. And the famous Shrinking South Pasadena Station (I love that the show films at the stop so much and makes it part of the fabric of the community in the show like it really is!)

Donutman stop. Buku Yarns Stop. Ganesha Stop.

Waiting at Union Station for first Driver swap. I swear, one day someone will set up a Churro Cart and make a killing as a full train waits and gets fuller.

Dommy G! @dommygonzalez.bsky.social · 20/09/2025

Starting the #ALine from Pico Station!! Luckily I got a seat and can start on my project! I have 7 repeats! Let’s see how far I get!

Dommy G! @dommygonzalez.bsky.social · 20/09/2025

It’s homecoming day for me! #MetroLA opened new #ALine stations that can now take me from the #SunnyBungalow to Pomona where I went to High School! Got 2 new #Severance podcasts & a nearly done Knitting project to accompany me along the way! Wish me luck as I start my first leg on the #Eline!

Ha! It was great to see you!! Good question!

Dommy G! @dommygonzalez.bsky.social · 15/03/2025

A’s for efforts do not win games. We had several opportunities and darn near every Austin player got a yellow card… but it just did not come together.

020

Dommy G! @dommygonzalez.bsky.social · 15/03/2025

And after my commentary…. THAT!!! Gah.

010

Dommy G! @dommygonzalez.bsky.social · 15/03/2025

Ugh. Still not meshing and the double teaming on Denis is infuriating! Austin scored on a set piece and we need to either work on ours or push this next half. Luckily we have not been prone to fading, so I have faith.

One more sleep! Braved the rain & cold at noon today to get my 5k bib at Dodgers Stadium as this years #Run4Westside campaign heads to its close! But there is still time to help Pups just like Sammy who I met today! Please donate via the link on my bio and thank you for the love, likes & support!

The sad thing is that likely are using AI BADLY. I was recently at an AI conference and a well known company did a price test. They had good data & if you have run these you could automatically see the best price. AI not only chose the wrong price but it was a lower price than the control!

Am I excited that LAFC is off to a great start this season!?! YES!! Am I even more excited that these Pups found their forever homes this week thanks to Westside!?! YES!!! Am I running the Big 5K for Westside on the same day as gameday & hope you support me by donating on the link in bio! YES!!!!

Just when I thought that I could not be happier tonight… I noticed one of the street vendors had New Mix!!!! I paid like 3x the price but the border lines as of late have been INSANE.

After a maddening game of ping pong where my outtie shouted WHY IS NO ONE THERE?!?! Ryan Hollingshead appeared….

Suck it guy!! That was amazing!!!

010

Dommy G! @dommygonzalez.bsky.social · 02/03/2025

At the half…. Although… again…. We go the half with no shots in goal, we had some lovely plays that just didn’t materialize. Still, New York has been playing quite well and this has been a pretty even match up. We need to watch it all through the second.

010

Dommy G! @dommygonzalez.bsky.social · 02/03/2025

omg. You pull that off so well!!

010

Dommy G! @dommygonzalez.bsky.social · 02/03/2025

New York player got an owie and had to be subbed in the 6th minute. 😳 So soaking up an atmosphere in the meantime.

I went last year. I had their sausage plate and it was really good.

010

Dommy G! @dommygonzalez.bsky.social · 23/02/2025

The team has gone through so much change this off season. I don’t want to call it a rebuilding year… being that is just the first game… and for now are top of standings. 😂

100

Dommy G! @dommygonzalez.bsky.social · 23/02/2025

We are always better when we start stronger. They were able to get into position a couple of times at the very start which was worrying… but for the most part we kept them away. Which is good… still you only win if you score.

110

Dommy G! @dommygonzalez.bsky.social · 23/02/2025

8 seasons… 8 home opener wins!!! What a streak! The team really came to life in the second half. Would have liked… one more goal…. But this is still a really good start.

140

Dommy G! @dommygonzalez.bsky.social · 22/02/2025

At the half…. We’ve been handling the ball well but for some reason hanging back. It’s been like one of us vs four of them + the ump! Like no shots on goal until the end. Ugh…. Still anyone’s game until we start pushing…

010

Dommy G! @dommygonzalez.bsky.social · 22/02/2025

There she is! Here’s our pretty girl! I glad I am back home! #LAFC #Olly

020

Dommy G! @dommygonzalez.bsky.social · 22/02/2025

I had my back turned from the commotion the girls were making and didn’t catch how they first managed to get him to chat with them or who he even was. He was being really kind. And then I caught his voice and a reflection and was like… omg. 😂😂😂

010

Dommy G! @dommygonzalez.bsky.social · 22/02/2025

Game day has begun!!! After way too much drama and frets…. Finally on my way to our first regular season match of the season! GO LAFC!!!

So proud of my fellow transit lovers.. Remember… HSR is not only a good civic investment. Good for the environment. Neighborhoods & businesses. It also opens up more housing options for workers. This is why it’s so important. This action is dooming another generation. youtu.be/l8iBFmsUrew?...

It's time to kick off our annual #RunforWestside Campaign! This is our big annual fundraiser & this year has already started with so much need due to dogs displaced by the fires, including these 3 who tragically lost their home & person. If you can, please donate via the link in my bio. Thank you!
