I am gutted. I met this man and interviewed him for the One Piece Podcast back when I Was on it... RIP to a very very real one. Buggy won't be the same without him.

Had an excuse to go make myself look decent. How am I doing?

Ok, I just absolutely LOVE when a writer, or really any creative who makes stuff I love also ends up being a cool good person. Plus, he created Amadeus Cho, who I feel a massive kinship with since he's the only superhero I know of born and raised in Arizona lol.

Finally watching more Doctor Who and I just got to an episode that has an introduction on the Blu-ray by Tom Baker... interesting. This one's called "Shada", I think it's the last one on this Blu-ray.

Ok, one cool thing about this Petra Parker trend I'm going to point out: Gwenpool only exists because she was on a variant cover of Deadpool on "Gwen Stacy Month" and the design went viral so Marvel made a book. All I'm saying is there's a chance. It'd be alt universe, but there's a chance.

DemonRin @demonrin.bsky.social · 19/08/2026

Ok, I'm not a line artist anymore really so here's MY contribution to the Petra Parker trend: This is going to be an ongoing thread that's basically going over how I think the actual existing Spider-man comic story would go if Petra: #Spiderman #spiderwoman #PetraParker #trans #trangender

2121

DemonRin @demonrin.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

Ok, I MAY have mapped out how Petra Parker's story would work up to ASM 300, SSM 136 & WoS 38... I went too far with this... not sure if I should share it lol.

DemonRin @demonrin.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

Ok, can someone make this an actual webcomic? It'd be amazing and probably have more actual character development and depth than what Marvel has been doing with Peter for decades now. Superior was the last great era for me because at least that was trying something new.

Show me a comic page you love; no explanation needed

$The last two comic book pages from Captain Marvel vol 8 (2014) #1. Carol Danvers, AKA Captain Marvel is standing on an airfield being embraced by her then boyfriend, James "Rhodey" Rhodes AKA War Machine. He says to her "What are you hoping to find out there in the stars?" to which she responds "I don't think I'll know until I get there". He then proceeds to end the embrace and walk away over the next two panels. The final panel on the first page is Carol changing into her costume while looking up to the stars and the second is her taking off into the sky. After the two dialog bubbles, the pages have narration boxes with the following inner monologue in Carol's head: "Have you ever seen a little girl run so fast she falls down? There's an instant, a fraction of a second before the world catches hold of her again... A moment when she's outrun every doubt and fear she's ever had about herself and she flies. In that one moment, every little girl flies. I need to find that again. Like taking a car out into the desert to see how fast it can go, I need to find the edge of me... And maybe, if I fly far enough, I'll be able to turn around and look at the world... And see where I belong."$

I just want them to confirm he's Victor Von Doom and not a Tony Stark Variant. "But how will they explain how he looks exactly like Tony then?!" You don't. A properly adapted Doom will have the mask on the vast majority of the time and a horrible scarred face the rest of it. Do that.

Watching them use basically the same tactics on Jones that he used on others is fucking hilarious and I'm here for it. It feels like they're baiting him into suing them for defamation, because he'd lose the court case and it'd be hilarious to see his arguments.

If he can call "GOP Allies" from his hospital bed, he can call into a news show or something. I don't know if he's actually dead or not, but they're clearly hiding whatever condition he IS in.

One thing we have to acknowledge is: They picked this issue as the big wedge issue for trans rights because it's unfortunately easy to hook people with. It's using the "Appeal to common sense" fallacy. Most people assume "Man strong, woman not " is "common sense" so you win by default

Shit like this is why I'm positive we're fucked. If Dems win in November, they either won't impeach him at all citing "Unity" and "Healing the country" or some such bullshit, and if they decide to actually DO it, they'll impeach in the House but fail to convict in the Senate.

Serious question but does the Playstation Disc decision affect 3rd parties and indies too? Or only first party Playstation releases? Can a 3rd party choose to still put out a physical release if they want?

Over om the other App, Towi animation posted a PRIDE month thing and thus image is the most common response and its REALLY funny to me how little media literacy CHUDS have Sweeties, this is right after he allowed the bad guy to take him over*. He did this to prove he's evil now to Goku and Kaioshin

A screenshot of a reply to Toei Animarion's Happy PRIDE month tweet depicting the scene from Dragon Ball Z during the Majin Boo arc, immediately after the villain Babidi has "mind controlled" Vegeta. Vegeta, in his blue gi, tight pants ans white gloves now sporting the villain's "M" symbol on his head and heavy eye liner, blows up the stands filled with innocent people at the Tenkaichi Budokai arena to prove to Goku and Kaioshin he is evil.

Does anyone happen to know where I can get all of Corset's dub dialog from Panty & Stocking, clean with SFX or music? Also, TOTALLY unrelated, but what's the best cleanest copies of Dragon Ball Kai and Super available? Just need The Freeza, Resurrection F, and ToP arcs... What?

I have much more of an appreciation of the Fishman Island arc of One Piece these days. Back in the day, what I saw as being a "Shallow" villain in the form of Hody, I now see as the dangers of radicalizing kids with hateful rhetoric. The FMI arc has aged like fine wine.

There are times I wish The Pixel Mavericks got more exposure and maybe we got a bigger audience and maybe started making money doing this. Then I see what the internet did to gooseworx, and Rebecca Sugar, and Vivziepop and realize I don't WANT to be a queer creator with a bigger following.

I genuinely believe he was a different person before his stroke. Was the person he was before the stroke a better person, or just better at hiding how awful he really was? Who's to say. But it's clear something fundamentally changed in his brain.
