(5/6): Much of the trolling on Facebook, after moving from Telegram, appears to have been committed by pages posing as users. Reverse-image searches revealed many Facebook pages used stock or stolen images as profile pictures. Engagement either linked back to Telegram or posted derogatory comments.

(4/6): Much of the kompromat targeted female activists who worked with Hajiyev, sharing thousands of secretly filmed, stolen, or leaked nude images. (2/6): On Feb. 24, Azerbaijani authorities extended Hajiyev's detention by two months, the same day his text messages and other intimate materials leaked on Telegram. Hajiyev claimed that some of the material was fabricated, manipulated, or a decade old. Authorities arrested Hajiyev in Dec. 2022.
