Happy #kidlitartpostcard day! One more repeat then on to new work. It’s weird when you have been creating nonstop for a new book but have nothing to show on social media! One more week of to go! #kidlitart We are currently in a winter weather watch, I thought snowy owls were perfectly for today.

Happy #kidlitartpostcard day! I’m on a deadline so I am using a favorite of mine. Yesterday I was at the farm and saw Honey playing in a puddle and making a muddy mess. Repped by @kellydhouse.bsky.social

Happy first #kidlitartpostcard day of 2026! I am continuing my recent obsession with owls. I even have a cute little story about owl friends I’ve been working on. Even though 2026 doesn’t seem so different from 2025, I’m personally hoping for more positivity and professional growth. #kidlitart

Thanks to the new dummy I am prepping for my agent, I am now a bridge construction and machinery expert. Not really, I have a secret weapon that inspired this story…my engineer daughter who patiently taught me the difference between a digger and a dozer. FYI these are neither. See…expert!

Being from Minnesota I am a winter expert. With my Greek and Italian family Christmas was THE holiday. A house full of people and way too much food is the perfect recipe for a memorable Christmas.

Happy #kidlitartpostcard Day! I’ve been working on spreading my wings and used a (mostly) analogous color palette for this new piece. It’s been fun to try something new and I think I might try another piece with either analogous color or limited color. Has anyone else been trying something new?

Hi Brian, While I don’t have any current Arctic inspired pieces, I love painting snow and landscapes. Finding color and pattern and texture in things that seem void of anything is what I love. Also fuzzy wild animals. I love fuzzy wild animals.

#folktaleweek I am not ready! I will have one or two pieces to share. Full of love and kindness, Mist was sensitive to the world around her. A powerful force had been beckoning her.
