Oh wow. This is the sort of thing which voters absolutely HATE (well, except for Trump who gets away with it all the time). And the contrast with Marshall suing & arresting his patients for similar amounts of past-due invoices is absolutely perfect.
BREAKING: Roger Marshall stiffed a local Kansas business who baked cookies for his campaign, refusing to pay a $678 bill - a bill larger than debts for which Roger Marshall had patients sued, arrested, and jailed, which ran as low as $114.49!Screenshot of Kansas baker post

‎Pro-Hamas Jihadi terrorists in New York City disrupted a peaceful vigil that was supposed to be about common empathy, humanity, peace, and solidarity to commemorate October 7 and all lives lost to chant for Hamas, Intifada, chaos, and war, while displaying images of their icon & hero, Yahya Sinwar. These modern day brownshirts can't stand the sight of Jews or Israelis, no matter how conciliatory or declaratively anti-Zionist, having any space to express grief or exist in public spaces.

Charles Gaba ✡️ @charlesgaba.com · 08/10/2026
And now this.
Organizers of the Oct. 7 vigil Mamdani is attending tonight are unable to start because pro-Palestinian protestors are drowning them out with their chats. Israeli organizers are trying to read testimonies from Israel and Palestinian victims and call the Gaza War a genocide. Protestors have taken seats intended for mourners, and one holds a sign of Sinwar.

This from @stuarth2o.bsky.social says it better than I did.
FYI on a day of mourning, you don't shake the hand of someone who mourns their loss and say "sorry for your loss, but..."

Decent human beings don't add the "but" and the words after the but.

It's grotesque to do so.

Today, October 7th, is a terrible day for almost all Jewish people including me.

Respect their loss.

If you can't find words of comfort, don't say anything at all.

Thank you.

I've often described this guy as being just an asshole with a large megaphone and diarrhea of the mouth. He really just can't help himself, can he? Abdul did exactly the right thing: He called Piker and *personally* asked him to STFU for just 30 more days, and Piker just couldn't do it.
Hasan Piker: "Merger ink hasn't dried yet and Dovere is already writing concern trolling hit pieces."

(in response to the CNN story stating that Abdul El-Sayed recently called Piker and warned his rhetoric was costing El-Sayed votes, asking him to stop.)

Hey, at least he finally took my advice! #ThankUNext
I'm actually gonna say good for Abdul unironically.

While not a complete disavowal--he's still trying to thread the needle--he at least made it clear that only reason he sucked up to Piker so much was to win the primary.

In other words, thank u, next.

Hi Charles,

I’m XXXXX, the Democratic nominee for Congress in XXXXX District, running against XXXXX.

A voter recently asked me whether I was on “Charles Gaba’s list.” I knew your work on the ACA, but I wasn’t familiar with Blue26. I looked it up and was pleasantly surprised to find that you had included me among the House Unlikely Heroes.

I wanted to personally thank you for including my campaign and for the work you’re doing to help candidates across the country.

Thanks again for including me. I’d be glad to keep you updated on what we’re doing here in XXXXX as we head into the final stretch.

Point of information: The Republican Party has already spent far more on protecting a single U.S. Senate seat in Texas than the TOTAL cost of the 2000 Presidential election for BOTH Al Gore and George W. Bush COMBINED. www.brennancenter.org/our-work/ana...
The Republican National Committee and the Democratic National Committee together spent $79.9 million on television ads in the 2000 presidential campaign, far more than the $67.1 million spent by the campaigns of Gov. Bush and Vice President Gore, the study says.

We will have knocked 10,000 doors by the election and have a robust gotv texting, phone banking, and canvassing plan.

I have signs everywhere. Digital ads running.

😳 HOLY CRAP. UNPRECEDENTED. While I've had a few cases where candidates asked me to remove them for legal/personal reasons (they accept public financing or had to drop out), I've NEVER had a candidate straight up say "nah, I don't need any more money, I'm good!" before...especially for STATE HOUSE.
Hi!

I am one of your Blue 26 candidates, and I want to say thank you so much for including me and for all the donations this has brought.

I have decided to suspend any new contributions to my campaign. I have the money I need to finish strong, which will take a bit off my shoulders since I have been serving as my own treasurer.

Can you remove me as a recipient of contributions on your form?

Thanks!
