Catherine O'Hara was easily the standout in the film, stealing every scene she was in. I was saddened when she passed away earlier this year. A year that seems to be taking a lot of celebrities who gave us comfort. Like O'Hara, Sam Neill, Anthony S Head, Hayden Panettiere, and Dolly Parton.

A very underrated movie that I only hear brought up on the rare occasion that deserves more love Such a original & creative treat of a movie. I find this era of Maguire & Witherspoon's careers fascinating, as their roles before the defining Spider-Man & Legally Blonde were some of their most unique

#Buffy's Marc Blucas and Danny Strong on #Pleasantville. There were more actors who'd been in random Buffy episodes, but these two were important.

Yeah that’s sad. Apparently it was an overdose that led to a cardiac arrest… it’s just so sad when such a young talented person dies

I used to love Harry Potter, but since JK's war against trans people I haven't read it, and I despise her for taking away the love I had for the books. HP was supposed to be celebrating being different, I thought abuse of people who lived in the closet would never happen..and then she... GRR ARGH.

I wish people would have even a 10th of empathy for real human gravesites that these adult Harry Potter fans have for a bloody fictional elf.

I've just watched #Babylon5 episode 'Believers' and was ready to give it 8⭐but then the parents killed the boy because they were religious freaks. Things like this still happen and it pisses me off so bad I ended up giving the episode 4/10. This scene was heartbreaking though.

Fun fact: #Buffy's Marc Blucas played David Clarke in the unaired pilot but was unable to appear in the series due to scheduling conflicts with Necessary Roughness (2011).

Nina @buffyringer.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

James Tupper as David Clarke. The guy with the most tragic story line, if you ask me. If it had been up to me, he would have gotten a happy ending. His death is the only thing I would change about the show.

Nina @buffyringer.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

Nick Wechsler as Jack Porter, who would totally be a golden retriever if he was a dog. Sometimes nice guys do finish last :D
