Had the chance to tour The Orange Loop in Atlantic City—an Opportunity Zone that’s showing what’s possible when we invest in communities. I stopped at local businesses and saw firsthand the jobs and growth happening in New Jersey!

I was honored to host a town hall last night with veterans, service members, and military families at the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans Memorial & Museum. Their sacrifice built the freedoms we enjoy. Our job now is to make sure they have the care, dignity, and support they’ve earned.

Proud to tour Trenton with Salvation and Social Justice. From the Food Pantry serving hundreds each month, to their upcoming Birthing Center tackling maternal health deserts, to the new Restorative Justice Hub where Street Teams mentor our youth.

Amazing visit to Sterling Hill Mining Museum in Ogdensburg. Walking the tunnels of New Jersey’s last working mine & seeing the Rainbow Tunnel was unforgettable. New Jersey history at its best!

The trump administration is out of excuses and out of time. I’m demanding the senate pass the Delaney Hall Closure Act—to close it within 90 days.

Instead of meeting with Epstein survivors, what did Todd Blanche do? He rushed to Ghislaine Maxwell’s prison cell, and then she got transferred to a cushier prison camp. This is not justice. It is corruption of a system meant to protect the most vulnerable.

The Garden State is known for our diners, our attitude, and our unforgettable icons (like Lucy). But what I love most about Jersey is our people, our sense of community, and how we always have each others' backs. Happy National New Jersey Day!

We’re down to the wire on the Todd Blanche nomination — and I’m leading the fight to hold him accountable. I will continue to fight for justice every step of the way. Tune in.

What truly matters isn’t a name on an account—it’s the purpose. I’ve worked across the aisle to make baby bonds a reality because they will transform the lives of millions of kids. Give every American child a dream, the strength to chase it, and There are no limits to what they can achieve.

We must stand up for a government that works for the people, not one corrupt president.

This President treats the Justice Department like his own personal law firm--flouting the rule of law and enriching himself and his family.

Now, his personal lawyer Todd Blanche--his pick for Attorney General--has granted him, his family, and his businesses broad immunity.

I’ll continue to stand up with Democrats and Republicans against these gross violations of our Constitution.

Trump's so-called “One Big Beautiful Bill” is creating a child hunger crisis in America—over 770,000 kids cut off from SNAP, families struggling to put food on the table. We cannot accept this. No child in the richest nation on earth should go hungry. op: @jesscraven

A cruel, chaotic, and corrupt president should be met with a Congress that fulfills its constitutional role providing a check and balance, that stands up and fights back.

@henrich.senate.gov lays it plain: Bessent is wrong—and he thinks the American people will just buy it. Families are paying hundreds more at the pump and the grocery store while we get lies instead of real solutions. We deserve better!

@warnock.senate.gov lays it plain: This administration’s economic plan is crystal clear—massive tax breaks for billionaires, tariffs that punish working families, and higher prices on your kitchen table. It’s time to fight for an economy that lifts up every American, not just the wealthy few.

. @warnock.senate.gov is right. This is not just a legal ruling. It is an assault on our highest ideals of fair elections and fair representation. This is a movement moment. We will fight back — in the courts, in Congress, and at the ballot box.

The Trump administration's tariffs on imported produce are driving up prices for everyday staples like fresh tomatoes. Every American family should be able to afford healthy, fresh food — not see it turn into a luxury.

As people celebrate 4/20, let’s be honest about the contradiction:

In many states, marijuana is legal.
In too many lives, the consequences are still permanent.

People are still carrying records.
Still locked out of jobs, housing, and opportunity - for doing what is now sold legally in storefronts.

That’s not justice. That’s hypocrisy.

State laws have changed, federal law hasn’t.
And thus:

Small businesses are squeezed. Research is restricted.
A growing industry is taxed and regulated in some places - generating real revenue - while the communities most harmed by prohibition are still waiting to be restored.

We should be building a fair, well-regulated national framework that de-schedules, taxes responsibly, expands research, and reinvests in the very communities that paid the highest price.

Progress has been made - because people fought for it.
But we are not done.

4/20 shouldn’t just be a celebration.

It should be a call to action.

Expunge records.
End the disparities.
Empower small businesses
Pass comprehensive federal reform.

On the 27th anniversary of Columbine, we remember the lives stolen and the families forever changed.

We have mourned too many times.
We have said “never again” too many times.

And still gun violence is the leading cause of death for children in America.

That truth should shake us.

But here’s another truth:
Because of relentless advocacy - parents, students, survivors, organizers - states across this country have passed laws that are saving lives. Progress is possible.

Just not enough. Not yet.

Our children still walk into classrooms practicing for the unthinkable. That is not normal. That is not acceptable.

So we remember, but we also recommit.
To action.
To courage.
To refusing to give up.

Because change doesn’t come from despair.
It comes from people who keep standing - together - until lives are protected and this nation lives up to its promise.

Proud to sponsor a resolution recognizing Black Maternal Health Week and highlighting the maternal health crisis facing  Black mothers in our country.

Black women in the U.S. are dying from pregnancy-related causes at roughly 2-3 times the rate of White women—a stark and persistent disparity.

We must act to address the systemic failures in our healthcare system. We must pass the Momnibus immediately.

Congress cannot keep letting Donald Trump spend billions, destabilize the world, and make Americans’ lives even more expensive without oversight. We must defend the Constitution. We will keep forcing this fight on the Senate floor.

Another large corporate merger tightening its grip on the food system. Not only would this limit purchasing options for independent restaurants, it would raise costs. Sysco could limit what ends up on the menu, reshaping dining experiences, and draining our wallets.

In the richest country on Earth, it should never be this dangerous to bring a child into the world—especially when so many maternal deaths are preventable.  Honored to stand with my colleagues as March of Dimes named us 2026 March for Change Champions.
