To be fair I was using electrical tape as sort of bandaids to cover the dings in the paint coating cause I knew that's how rust was gonna seep in, I then just decided to cover the name so now it's just the KHS| 8

I expressed applying for a new job and getting it. It pays the same, it's physically closer, and the work is closer to what I want to do. I get told it's stupid and I should just stay at the warehouse that's making me depressed

Me: I'm not happy where I am. I'm worse. I've been spiraling a lot more

Family member: you don't seem to get that nobody, nobody at all loves every moment of their jobs. It's okay for it to be hard, or uninteresting or downright boring sometimes if it empowers you to do the things you want outside of work and genuinely help or improve the lives of people while doing it.

Me: I do get that. I don't appreciate being talked down to.

Family member: have you tried leaning in at work? Like it doesn't matter you don't love it, do it anyway, ask how you can contribute more, how you can contribute in ways you may ultimately find more engaging long term? Like, how are you so completely certain you don't want to create, work with your hands, or build anything ever? Have you tried?
