![Anyway, that said, I'm genuinely stuck right now, and I don't know where else to turn. Asking for help isn't a strong suit of mine, though I know I've had to before. Quite frankly, it's usually friends that convince me that I need help and shouldn't push alone. Today though, I am reaching out completely on my own. I've missed work due to the ongoing health issues, which have put me further and further behind. I never really financially recovered after my surgery a few months ago set me back, and my complication not getting properly taken care of has meant that I have been missing work more than I'd like to admit. I barely spend on anything beyond essentials, so I can't just "cut back." I've sold a bunch of stuff already this past month just to make it by. But I am genuinely at my wits end for doing this myself. I'm in a position where I feel I have to ask for help, and I'm sorry it's come to that. I can manage without medications and groceries for a week, but even with that cut back, my next paycheck won't cover what I'm missing for rent at this point.
If there's anyone reading this who has the ability to help without putting themself out, I would be endlessly grateful. If not, I completely understand. I know that there are a lot of people struggling out there. But thank you for reading, regardless.
