I return to this today because of news that Trump wants to turn his West Palm Beach golf club into a new Camp David, a permanent presidential retreat. The details here are important. If Trump had some secluded property he wanted to donate to the federal government for this purpose, there might be some logic, though it's hard to imagine Democrats wouldn't put it up for sale at their first opportunity. What he wants to do is different. His plan is to donate a parcel of land at the private club for the Florida Camp David. So it's really that future presidents would have there own private bungalow at Trump International Golf Club in Palm Beach. As an additional, rather comical, sweetener the club's legal counsel, who is presenting the idea to Palm Beach County officials, says that future presidents will even be offered comped memberships to the club. In other words, this new gambit seems to combine both Trump's legacy and

Donald J. Trump + @realDonaldTrump The Inspector General's Report just came out on Jerome "Too Late" Powell's "renovation" of the Federal Reserve Headquarters in Washington, D.C. The IG's Report states that there were "deficiencies in the management of the renovation project." The Building is over budget, at a Record Setting rate and, at a minimum, "Too Late" Powell should be forced to resign from the Board. He can't manage a Building, and he certainly shouldn't be allowed to manage his High Interest Rate Policy (only on "TRUMP!"). I have asked Attorney General Todd Blanche to study the report, and make a determination as to what to do about a relatively small Building Complex that is Hundreds of Millions of Dollars over budget, and is now going to cost, according to the Report, at least 2.5 Billion Dollars, with no end in sight. The Report states, "We were concerned to find that the Board did not obtain a project cost estimate from the [construction manager] until January 2026, which

was 3.5 years after construction began and after the Board had awarded more than $2 billion in construction costs. As of July 2026, more than 4 years after construction began and $2 billion has been awarded for construction, the Board had yet to set a [guaranteed maximum price]" — An absolutely unheard of situation! "The Board therefore still does not have cost certainty and has not transferred material risk to the [construction manager]." In actuality, I think that the 2.5 Billion Dollars will be 3.5 Billion Dollars, and maybe 4 Billion Dollars by the time they're finished, and may never get properly built. Soundproofing, and all other elements of the Building, will be inferior to what was previously there. In particular, the magnificent beauty, sculptured ceilings and walls, and so many other things which made the Federal Reserve Building stand apart, will never be captured again, and are only being replaced by flat, boring, less than midlevel finishes. nickjacksonyb There will never be another Pac. He inspired generations of wrestlers, and the impact he's had on the wrestling business will be seen for decades to come. I'll never forget the matches I witnessed firsthand in Japan for Dragon Gate. They absolutely blew me away, and I always wished I could become just as good of a wrestler as him. We first met 20 years ago for PWG. Soon after, he mentored us over in Japan and showed us how things worked there. He would show us where the best food spots were—and, of course, where the local McDonald's was (lol). We lost touch for a few years while he was wrestling in WWE, but we reconnected right before the start of AEW. Matt and I knew we had to have him on the roster because of how incredibly talented he was in the ring, and how good of a human being he was outside of it. We had many classic matches with him, but the best-of-seven series that ended in a ladder match in LA will always be etched in my memory. Matt, Kenny, and I, along with

the Lucha Bros and Pac, all shared tears that night. We were just so happy and had so much fun-even though I accidentally broke Pac's nose in the very first match a month or so prior! He never held it against me. Haha. At that time, my confidence was at an all-time low, and he helped me get it back. I'll never forget that. We just wrestled him last month in Mexico. After the match, we all reflected on the crazy experience and agreed we could do that match every single day of the week. We were on such a high from how hot that crowd was. Little did I know that would be the last time I'd ever share a ring with him.

In Australia, that colonial legacy is celebrated nationally every 26 January, the date marking the arrival of the First Fleet, the beginning of British colonisation and the dispossession of Aboriginal people. Year after year, Aboriginal people and our allies take to the streets across Australia to oppose such divisive, supremacist and unnecessary "celebrations" and call for change. To the people of Garvaghy Road, Ireland, we stand with you in condemning the renewed imposition of British triumphalism upon your people after almost three decades of reprieve.
