So, with all this #Dressmaker talk, I was thinking... What about a little OC challenge? :P Anyone far enough along you can make her something special for the occasion? #TLM #Inix

Dressmaker shop lobby screenshot with a bald pretty opal flecked black robot standing in front of the counter. Her name is Inix and she says "I'd like something I could wear while I sell on the catwalks... Not too sexy, but sparkle, intrigue, and charm are all a plus! Any color, any material, any style! Does $1000 work?"

A fan-fave exchange with beta readers (and personally, my own) is this scene with almost the whole crew, where Sylvan bonds quickly with the scariest robot of the bunch. There aren't many scenes in The Gone Machine with Zev - just a couple - but they sure are memorable. #TGM #Zev #Sylvan #TBBPrompt

“Zev,” he asked, and the bot turned his face towards Sylvan. “What kind of bot are you?”
“Cyberdynelife model number: AZR4700.” The bot answered.
“What kind of bot is an AZR4700?” Sylvan asked.
“Oh, he won’t tell you.” Sterling said, glancing over. Zev was silent, continuing like he had pre-determined a path and was simply executing it. Sterling turned back as Inix explained the needle of the machine to him, and she flicked the on switch, the light on it illuminating.
“You’re not a housebot.” Sylvan said quietly, and whether Zev was listening – or cared to listen – he didn’t noticeably turn his attention to Sylvan. “Or a sexbot or a medbot or a laborbot. You’re not a shopbot. Maybe you’re a custom build?”
“Maybe.” Zev said, mirroring the hushed quiet that Sylvan pontificated in, his voice sounding human on the singular word. He still didn’t look up, and Sylvan found himself studying the make of the bot in front of him. He had synthetic skin on most of his face and wrapping onto his ears, convincing black hair on his head, and skin on his collarbones and chest, but everywhere else seemed to be his robotic cybernetics. His bottom jaw exposed a black carbon-fiber like shape matching the panels on his arms and legs, and his eyes were definitively bot: black with the glowing cyan irises. He looked cyborg, at first glance, as intended. He must have been custom.

Hey Google, did I miss something where the definition of "image" changed? Why when I search and tab over to "Images" do I get TIKTOK VIDEOS?

Google "image search" which shows multiple VIDEOS instead.

Dressmaker is like... Sylvan's dream location, honestly. I think the sad wet cyborg fashion designer would do JUST fine in this universe. #Dressmaker #TGM #Sylvan #Art #OC

The typical Dressmaker shop, but it's got a new character (my OC Sylvan, a white man with wavy brown hair and a sideshave, black button up shirt and black cybernetic arms) in it. He's looking pensive and smiling, an eyebrow quirked, and he is saying "You mean to tell me there's no rent, materials just *show up*, *and* you have sunlight? Can I work for *you*?"

Screenshort of a dress from Dressmaker in orange, yellow, and red. It's kind of ugly? But kind of endearing at the same time. It has a mermaid skirt bottom and long sleeves with ruffles, a plunging neckline and a bow.

I honestly think that this 100 list is not in order (or at least, I hope so). I also think this means I watch far too much TV Also, where's all the animation??? Bojack Horseman is the only animated anything worth anything? Common Side Effects? She-Ra? Not even Rick & Morty (despite the fandom)?

The Gone Machine is about grief, yes, but it's never explicitly stated. So I'm going with regret here Mild spoilers for The Gone Machine #TBBPrompt #TGM #Writing #IndieAuthor

Sylvan shrugged. Was it? Sylvan liked to think that he had more respect for bots than most humans. Part of it was because he simply wasn’t able to look at bots as objects, but most of it was guilt that drew him to the ano bot’s plight. He spent so many years regretting what he hadn't done to keep Robbie beside him.
He owed them all, regardless of what they said.
Robbie, for raising him.
Inix, for drawing him out.
Zev, for freeing him.
Sterling, for fixing him.

I have these And I need to start posting them soon :3 #TWM #TLM #TGM #Sterling #RobotArt

3 images of a robot, full bodied, starting with a yellow and silver (and black) robot looking to be wearing something like construction helmet. He then becomes black, and then looks a bit more human.

Text beside him reads: STERLING. FLC0776. He/him
For his size and strength Sterling may come across as a bit of a cruiser, but ultimately, he just enjoys creating over destroying. Ask for help, and he's there to do anything he can to help you, no matter what the project might be. He is surprisingly sweet and soft for a construction robot. With a strong chassis meant to withstand powerful hits, Laborbots have a short shelf life and seldom go anomalous, but with a little upgrading and TLC, Sterling is even better than new.

The FLC0776 labor android series boasts unparalleled control and accuracy from our foreman models that you’ve come to know and trust from Cyberdynelife! Enjoy complete independent work from the ground up with a solar powered 4-machine self-contained crew. Discontinued model. FLC0777 coming soon!

Bisexual flag colors, pink, purple, and blue, mix with a retrowave aesthetic. A robot hangs, partially disassembled, upside down, staring at the viewer, two hands behind its back, and one leg bent behind its other leg. It is suspended by numerous wires. from an AU because apparently I never say "mystery" in much of anything lol #Writing #TBBPrompt #Azra

Gideon just sort of looked at him, quiet.
“Do you have any hobbies, Gideon?” Azra asked, and he didn’t make eye contact for too long. Gideon was looking with some envy, like he wanted to be like Azra, free in that sense, and the more Azra made eye contact with him, the less likely he would be to open up. Azra had learned easily that Gideon loved Azra’s friendly, charismatic mystery, and the less Azra gave him, the more deeply he became wrapped around Azra’s finger.
“Not really.” He said, and he shook his head. “I shouldn’t be talking about this with you.”
“Why not?” Azra asked sweetly.

thank you so much to netgalley for allowing me to read such a wonderful book!

This story is so beautiful, I'm struggling to find the words to properly describe how it made me feel. The setting is so clear and beautifully described. Even the scenes in the landfill seemed beautiful in their own way. The character development of both Sterling and Zev is incredible. Watching Sterling develop and categorize new emotions felt so special, like i was learning with him.

“It is with great regret that we call this board meeting with the untimely passing of Francis Faradey, however we are thrilled to have his next-of-kin here with us today, Feint Faradey,” he said, and he gestured a hand her way. “Thank you so much for joining us, and we are so sorry for your loss.”
Feint smiled solemnly at him – she had been through the trick show of board meetings and corporate overlords so many times she knew the route by heart.

Followers of The Gone Machine campaign got a head start on the bot personality quiz, but anyone can enjoy it. :D Results are bot chars across the 1st 4 The Machines titles. When I took it myself, I got Zev. Not surprised in the slightest honestly. 😂 Who'd you get? aimeecozza.com/bot-quiz #TGM #Zev

Loyal, dedicated, logical, and brutally honest, Zev can come across as cranky to those who don’t know him well. On the outside, he’s reserved enough, because he’s always making selections about what to do next based on best outcomes and the most optimal path. Always thinking ten steps ahead of everyone, he’s seemingly got it all figured out. “Ask Zev,” they say. “He’ll know.”
