I ran an Ethernet cable up to it for PoE. Sadly, the device can’t actually use the Ethernet for data, but at least it’s powered by my network stack on a UPS.

I’ve been keeping my eye out for a used King 2B or 3B valve trombone in good condition. Just stumbled across one with both the valve and slide sections. It’s pristine and only an hour away from me. It is also twice what I was hoping to spend. 🎉😭

That's part of what inspired the post. I'm not a huge fan of discord due to the complexity of the platform. Part of that is people over complicating their instances, and part of it is just the platform's UX from its original gaming focus.
