After struggling for a week, my partner and I have made the very difficult decision to put Cecil (our cat) to sleep. He's very clearly given up the fight himself, and I hate seeing him suffer. I'll remember him for the sweet, adorable idiot that liked to wear a cat toy for a hat.

An orange cat with absolutely no thoughts in his head, wearing a dangling bell toy as a hat.

I liked her newer design until I got the new sword. The new sword matches her old design better!

Whenever I see a ragebaity thing, I assume it's a 12-year old behind it. If it's definitely an adult, then it's an adult that could be mistaken for a 12-year old, thus making their opinion equally invalid.

Still taking care of Morgana most of my days, but she's recovering enough that I can sneak in some renders every now and then. :) I like how this one came out (it's part of the game, I'm not just rendering me and my cat for fun).

We're filing an appeal, first. Apparently it's a pretty common thing to just deny everything and only pay when it seems clear that you're not an easy target. Still, I've been paying this company almost half my paycheck for 20 years, and then when it's their time to do what I've paying them for...

Nine of Swords Studios @9ofswords.bsky.social · 10/07/2026

Oh cool, the insurance company is trying to say we owe $60,000 for Morgana's surgery due to not being deemed "medically necessary". I guess she technically doesn't NEED both arms. The healthcare system in this country is so fucked.

Meet Crumb, Button, and Clover. A friend in the Bay Area found them behind a gas station. Unfortunately, she isn't able to keep them, so if she can't find someone to adopt them, they will be going to a shelter. Can you help me find them a home? They are in good health and very tame.

Morgana's surgery went well and now she's home recovering. Unexpectedly, they wanted the payment before the surgery - but thanks to all of you who helped out, we actually managed that! Without you all, we'd have been pretty screwed. Thank you all so much for your support (monetary or emotional). 💜

I'm still hoping to find a better platform that would work LIKE GoFundMe that wouldn't put our names out there.

110

Nine of Swords Studios @9ofswords.bsky.social · 04/06/2026

Oh, I agree. Patreon for a one-time payment is really clunky, but right now it's my only option to maintain my private identity. GoFundMe requires my (or Morgana's) real names be revealed, and Ko-Fi/BuyMeACoffee are both impossible because Stripe has labeled me a heretic.

110

Nine of Swords Studios @9ofswords.bsky.social · 03/06/2026

I love her design. My ace ass just gets hypnotized by the internal waterscape she's got going on.

020

Nine of Swords Studios @9ofswords.bsky.social · 02/06/2026

Looks like I can't set up a Ko-Fi or BuyMeACoffee because Stripe closed my account before I could even start either of them. 🙃 So I guess Patreon/SubscribeStar is the only way to help, if you can.
