Cat Owners - Warning! 🧵 On Tuesday, one of our cats had a weepy eye and wasn’t eating. Was totally out of the blue. Trip to the vets and a diagnosis of a possibly eye abscess. We were to give him a total of 7 x 2 eye drops a day (and bear the scars to show just how much he liked that!)

@nafocatsdivision.bsky.social One of our cats has had a rough week. Eye abscess came up overnight. 2 days of treatment failed. On Friday, we had to make the decision to have his eye removed. He’s on the mend but grumpy with his cone. Can he become an honorary NAFO Cat please? @firenfury.bsky.social

Why is it, the smallest cat in the house is always the one that produces the most toxic, biohazard warfare level graded “outputs”?

Last time I put Christmas directions up. Dec 2019. Two days later, I tested positive for Covid and took them down in a strop! Little did I know what was about to hit us…18 colleagues died. I attended to one myself. I’ve never put any up since…

x.com/ZelenskyyUa/... Volodymyr Zelenskyy / Володимир Зеленськ Tomorrow is an important day. 💙💛🙏🏼 We are anticipating a historic conclusion from the European Union—a report on Ukraine's implementation of the European Commission's recommendations.... ALT

And we are already planning our next steps following this report. Our legislative efforts and the strengthening of state institutions. Ukraine has already come a long way toward stronger ties with the European Union. We are fully aware that EU membership relies on a political decision shared by all EU members that want to see a new state join, but it also relies on the candidate state itself and its work to approximate and adapt EU standards and community norms. Ukraine will join the EU. And we will achieve this, in particular, as a result of our state's internal transformation that is completely consistent with the interests of our people. The EU represents economic security and social stability for Ukraine, and Ukraine represents the strengthening of the entire EU community. And it is critical that the Ukrainian parliament continues to support the legislative efforts required for our European integration.

When the cat goes beam surfing up to the top of the cabinets and proves, nope, I don’t dust the top of cupboards…🙄🤦‍♀️

Down to the beach tonighp Followed by a 2hr drive home due to an RTC on main road and flooded lanes. The standing joke of Welsh following someone walking in front of the vehicle became reality only I was the someone, minus a red flag while @firenfury.bsky.social stayed dry in the car 🤔🤦‍♀️

We have Man Flu in the House! I repeat, Man Flu in the House. This is not a drill! (Also not Covid thankfully.) And apparently, as a medic, I’m the one supposed to administer Lemsip at 4am, check temp and SATs etc. to the worlds most stubborn patient! 🤔🙄

Our hearts sunk when this was announced. From memory, it was a Saturday on a hot bank holiday weekend too. Apart from those colleagues who gave their lives fighting Covid and died from it, we also lost 3 crew to suicide. 😞 I’ll never forgive that man and his greedy cronies for as long as I live.

I’ve just noticed something! No annoying adverts every third post for the most ridiculous items, (many illegal/dangerous) and most of the rest of which you can buy at half the price direct from the supplier. (Usually Amazon it seems) Bliss! 😊

This man is a genuine hero and after heavy fighting in Bakhmut, needs help from the medical community. Please, if anyone has any contacts in Neuro that could possibly help, his sister is trying to find a Doctor to assist him. Thanks @dailyfellanews.bsky.social @catmedicactual.bsky.social

When you realise it’s not even worth kidding yourself that you don’t cats and they, in fact, rule the house…🙄🤦‍♀️ (Don’t worry. That’s not coffee!)

Some days, you just need to get away from it all and when you’ve this on your doorstep, where better to do so! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
