iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

I know this looks like a huge mess, but I'm very excited because I'm finally working on my game again for the first time in months. The roof is closest to how the finished thing will look, but the dirt and grass are really far from done!

A somewhat grainy digital painting of an old rusty mobile home on dry grass, minus doors and windows. It is a work in progress.

A somewhat grainy digital painting of an old mobile home (Same as the last picture), but zoomed out to show even more dry grass, dirt (?), and a red and blue border where a fence might go. It is also a work in progress.

I have drawn my favorite pokemon, Dunsparce.

A small, rendered Dunsparce, in the standard Dunsparce colors. It is a fat snake with tiny wings and a drill like tail, typically yellow and light blue. It is resting peacefully.

I got uhhh micron pens!! Sorry the ink is really shiny, I don't do traditional art a lot and I'm kind of bad at taking pictures of it I think??

An ink drawing of a man in what appears to be a mask with glowing eyes. He's wearing a white tank top and seems mildly annoyed at the person next to you.

The same ink drawing, shown in a small sketch book on a white "wooden" desk top. The materials used (three pens, a mechanical pencil, and an eraser) are sitting around it.

I got uhhh... no pencil sharpener.

A small sketch book on a white table, laying on a pile of colored pencils. There is a half finished drawing of a man in the sketch book. It is my art supplies.

A half finished colored pencil drawing of a man. He is wearing a grey sleeveless shirt and looking downward. Due to the unfinished state, he has very few discernable features.

I've been in a slump as far as actual drawing goes, but I did make some progress on one of my games! This one is about cleaning and also there are ghosts. I'm really slow at making maps.

A screenshot of a game. A character with long, black hair and a blue work uniform stands facing a fluffy black cat on a countertop. They seem to be standing in some kind of unfinished restaurant. The menu is empty and the room is sparsely decorated.

Well, my soul has left my body and I'm having trouble drawing new things, please take this panel from my comic instead. His name is Dog, he lives in Kero's house, they are friends :)

A digital painting in black and white of a very handsome bullfrog entering a room. He is happy to see you!

I couldn't think of something funny to put on the gravestone, but I did finish something for once! I tried to record a timelapse but it just looks like a confusing blur, oops. Probably because it was three days of scribbling condensed into 60 seconds.

A digital painting of clown with red hair, no face, and glowing white eyes who has just emerged from the grave. The background features a grassy field and a blue sky with clouds. The gravestone is slightly tipped and reads "R.I.P." because I am too tired to be funny.

In order to avoid going insane I will be drawing a lot, ok. Just... a quick sketch to practice faces because I'm worried I'll forget how.

I'm trying to learn to be more active on social media or whatever, so here is a WIP! It's Sketchbook, on my phone.

I wanted to see if I could paint in... MS Paint! The answer is... mostly yes, but the color selector thing is real annoying. Aside from that, it was more or less the same as my normal process! There are a couple things I want to fix, buuuuut I am burnt out.

The #timelapse of the X Files screenshot I did a study of! For some reason, drawing the doodle was the hardest part. #digitalart #speedpaint

I tried acrylic markers! I don't really do traditional art a lot, so... there's probably room for improvement. The markers are fun, though, and exactly as satisfying as videos make them look.

A tiny picture of a... well, I don't know what he is. A little round guy with red cheeks and hair, wearing a plastic six pack ring as a necklace. He seems happy about it, he is doing a little thumbs up. The text below reads... (in pencil) "...it seems that I have left my nice pens at home." (And in pen) "found them :)"

A colored drawing of a man in what seems to be a mask with red cheeks and white eyes.

And... hello friends, I'm pretty new to alt text so I hope these are okay and helpful!

I just remembered I could post multiple pictures at once! I've been painting my character into liminal space photos to practice lighting. (The bird character belongs to Mister Theodore Drew!)

A photo of a crossroads at dusk. A man and small bird are painted into it, facing each other. The bird has a tiny top hat and cloak.

A photo of a mostly empty beach at sunset, or maybe sunrise? A man and a small bird are painted into it. The man is sitting in a plastic lawn chair. They are having a beer together because they are friends.

A nighttime photo of a mostly empty beach, illuminated with a single very bright light. A man and a tiny bird are painted into this one as well. The man is waving goodbye to the bird.

Lately, I have been drawing my character into liminal space photos to practice lighting and... okay I don't know art terminology. You know, making a character the correct size in relation to their environment. (The bird friend belongs to Mister Theodore Drew)

A photo of a crossroads at dusk(??). A man and small bird are drawn into the photo. The bird is wearing a very tiny top hat and cloak.

Drawn on drawpile! My character is secretly a frog, btw.

A digital painting of a guy in a pond, submerged up to his chest. There is a bullfrog next to him (they are friends)

I'm making a game! In RPG Maker. Ignore the sprite, it's a placeholder from another project. Anyway, the game is about being trapped in the clown dimension, mostly.

A screenshot of a somewhat pixellated kitchen from an almost top down perspective. The kitchen has not been remodeled since the 70s. A man is standing off to the side, he does not match the rest of the kitchen because he is in side view perspective. Also because he is wearing a Halloween costume.

My friends were doing an Animal Crossing collab! So uh... here's my attempt at my character in that style.

A digital painting of an Animal Crossing style character with short red hair, a blank white face, bright white eyes, and red cheeks. He is swinging a bug net. He is wearing a black tank top with a white design, white pants with red pinstripes, green and yellow striped socks, and red canvas shoes.

I still haven't finished anything, so I decided to color some simple sketches of my OCs. Here's a WIP of one, I'll post the rest if I make more progress!

Still haven't finished anything new, so here is an old WIP! It is a study of Clowncore. The background was a bunch of dry grass I think (grass is my weakness) so I gave up. I'll finish it someday, maybe. Hopefully.

Unfinished digital painting of Clowncore, kneeling in a beige void.

My friends do these really cool collab things, where we all draw our characters in the same scene. Heavily cropped because I don't know how to credit everyone. The green penguin belongs to Partack, the blob is Jett, the lil pink guy is @widowgh0st.bsky.social and the clown(??) is mine!

Since I haven't finished anything new lately, please accept this study I did of my favorite X Files screenshot
