These weren’t just battles — they were moments that shaped the future of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The 93rd Brigade stood firm, protecting the nation during its most fragile hours, and laying the groundwork for the strength and resilience we see on the front today.

➡️ Donetsk Airport – Where the defenders became known as Cyborgs, holding the terminal against impossible odds. ➡️ Marinka and Pisky – Small towns turned into fierce battlegrounds where every meter was paid for in blood and resistance.

Sent to Luhansk Oblast, the brigade quickly became a cornerstone of Ukraine’s defense in some of the fiercest and most symbolic battles of the early war. ➡️ Ilovaisk – Where Ukrainian soldiers were ambushed in a so-called “green corridor,” revealing the brutal cost of Russian betrayal.

Throwback Thursday: 📚 History Matters March 2014 — As Russia’s war against Ukraine began, the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade “Kholodnyi Yar” was among the first to be deployed to the frontlines.

✅ Share vital intelligence in real time ✅ Stay connected with their units — even under fire But radios aren’t cheap. That’s why we’re fundraising to secure radios to equip our battalion with the communication tools they desperately need.

🔹 Medical evacuations can’t be coordinated quickly 🔹 Reinforcements may arrive too late 🔹 Situational awareness breaks down, increasing risk At the frontline, every second counts. Radios allow our soldiers to: ✅ Call for urgent medical help ✅ Coordinate attacks and defenses

In the chaos of combat, communication is everything. Radios are the lifeline that connects soldiers, commanders, and support teams — turning individual fighters into a coordinated force. Without reliable radios: 🔹 Orders get delayed or lost

In training or on the front, this is how precision is built: breath by breath, shot by shot. #Marksmanship #CombatReadiness #FrontlineRealities #Alcatraz93

📸 Here, a soldier demonstrates how using the leg as a brace can create a makeshift support when there’s no sandbag, bipod, or flat surface available. It's a skill rooted in muscle memory and calm — finding stillness in chaos.

Whether in prone, crouched, or improvised positions, knowing how to stabilize your weapon under pressure can mean the difference between survival and silence.

🎯 Frontline Skills: Breathing, Balance, and Precision In combat, accuracy isn’t just about pulling the trigger — it’s about control. Every soldier must learn to manage their breathing, body, and weapon as one unified system.

And out here, your best chance is the man beside you, trained and ready. Out here, Tac Med isn’t a formality. It’s survival. Every training like this is made possible by the people who believe our soldiers deserve a fighting chance. Support Ukraine’s defenders.

They learned how to check for the kind of injuries that don’t scream — the ones that hide beneath the skin, bleeding silently inside. The kind that will kill you if your brothers don’t catch it in time. This isn’t theory. This isn’t paperwork. This is war.

One correction — it means stepping out of the blindage and into the open. That’s why radios save lives. They let us stay hidden, stay protected, and still stay connected. 📡 We’ve raised $1,940.63 of our $2,980 goal to buy 4 critical radios for our battalion — but we’re not there yet.

Hidden in a blindage — safe, silent, watching. But without radios, that safety ends the moment we need to speak. When we don’t have radios, we’re forced to leave cover, step into danger, and run messages under drones and fire. One transmission. One order.

Moments of joy that sneak in like sunlight through clouds. Moments that say: I’m still here. We’re still us. That smile? It’s defiance. It’s hope. It’s the spirit of a soldier who refuses to be broken. #Alcatraz93 #SoldiersSmile #SupportUkraine

Even in war, there are smiles. Big ones. The kind that stop you in your tracks and remind you what we’re fighting for. Behind the weight of gear, the hours of training, and the reality of war — there are human hearts still beating with life.

29110

But he’s not alone — thanks to our donors, we’ve already raised $1089 out of $2980 to buy 4 radios for our battalion. Equipment that keeps him connected. Equipment that saves lives. We’re not there yet — and until we are, this soldier keeps moving forward, heavier than he needs to be.

He climbs the hill with everything he needs to survive strapped to his back — rifle, shovel, sleeping roll, pack. Every ounce matters. Every step is purpose. This is what a soldier looks like when there’s no one else to carry the weight.

131

They face these harsh conditions willingly, standing firm against the darkest evil of our time. Their courage is our shield. Their sacrifice is our future.

160

This is the reality of war. Men who volunteer to crawl into this dirt-walled blindage — no comfort, no escape from the summer heat and relentless mosquitoes — all to protect Ukrainians from genocide.

🧠 A team that understands drone warfare like soldiers do — with experience, not guesses. We learned the hard way. What protects us now isn’t from a box — it's built with purpose, and built to save lives. #AlcatrazBattalion #WarTechnology #DroneDefense #DonetskOblast

010

If a connection fails, they resolder it by hand. They test it in field conditions, under fire, under pressure — and they keep improving with every enemy adaptation. An anti-drone system isn’t one piece of gear. It’s: 🔧 A high-power jammer, 🔋 A stable power supply, 📡 Tuned antennas,

🟡 To our instructors — thank you for standing over us, for guiding us, for helping us stand taller when it’s our turn to fight. #AlcatrazBattalion #CombatTraining #DonetskOblast #SupportUkraine #

010

That’s why the 93rd Brigade, our brigade, doesn’t rely on what the market sells. We have our own technical team — working night and day to build real anti-drone systems. They don’t just assemble — they test, fix, and rework. If a part arrives faulty, they open it up.

That’s why they push us harder, watch us closer, demand more. Because when the time comes, there are no second chances. These instructors carry the burden of shaping us into the soldiers who will protect each other when it matters most. They turn fear into reflex, and reflex into survival.

But when we tried to use it — it failed. The range wasn’t what was advertised. The system overheated. It couldn't track fast enough. And in the end, it became a box of false hope. That’s the reality: Not all gear is made for the real front.
