just got to reread some orv. rotating this in my brain and feeling immense depression over kim dokja. gonna kdj myself (positive) (affectionate) (i hate everything) (the epilogues ruined my life) (but in a positive way)

I stared out the window.
The dark sky above the destroyed Seoul could be seen. Was it because I had become a constellation? The sky wasn't the same as before.
Countless constellations were embroidered in the sky. The Star Stream was embracing the constellations. They were stars that could never be reached despite being so close.
Even with so many stars shining…
There was the distant abyss that couldn't be erased. I felt like I had discovered something.
What were the constellations always enduring? Why were they so obsessed with the story?
I shook off this distant emotion and opened my mouth.
"Perhaps the scenario…"

and like the reason i think that is SO noteworthy is we're usually allowed to experience the moment with him. like yes he definitely still hides so much but we at least get to see part of it, like when yjh died. but that time? not even a glimpse. it was that bad.

i think about this a lot and wanted to add a fun thing. when kdj leaves yjh with the watch, we get to go through the realization of loss with him. when it happens to kdj? we get the MOST clinical description in the book. as the audience, we're not allowed to see the level of grief he went though.
