Did you know Sonic the Hedgehog had his own europop album released in the 90s? Imagine if other popular cartoon/video game characters got their own europop albums. Which character would YOU pick?

I just came to realize that many American remakes of foreign films usually flop at the box office. I guess Americans aren't satisfied with the remakes made in their home country, and they want to watch the originals with English subtitles.

FUN FACT: Disney Channel India had their own local remakes of popular shows from its American counterpart.

Since everyone's talking about the raps in Kodocha, I just want to point out that in this one specific rap in Japanese, they didn't even try to match the dialogue with the mouth movements. However, I do know the animation process in anime is done before voice recording, so I'll give it a pass.

Last Action Hero was a financial and critical flop when it came out back in 1993. Thank Jurassic Park for that. But to be honest, the film was never bad. People were just not ready for meta humor. Had the film come out 20 or 30 years later, it would've been a finanical and critical success.

What if there was a second American remake of The Visitors from 1993 that was animated and starred anthropomorphic animals just like Zootopia?

I deleted my most recent post because I thought it was a bad time to post it since people are still mourning the death of Daveigh Chase. Additionally, voice actors ARE still being hired by talent instead of by race today. So my post was in bad taste.

Say what you want about Tiffany voicing Judy in Jetsons: The Movie, but at least the other members of the Jetsons family weren't voiced by A-list celebrities. Had the film come out in the modern era, that would 100% be the case. They would likely cast Will Ferrell as George and Tom Holland as Elroy.

The 1992 film Braindead was renamed to Dead Alive in the US because there was already a film from 1990 called Brain Dead (albeit two words). Nowadays I think the film would've retained its original title because we have so many films today with the same title, such as Mercy from 2023 and 2026.

Given the state of voice acting now, if The Amazing Chan and the Chan Clan came out today, the Chan kids would've totally had Asian-American actors voicing them. Johnny Yong Bosch would voice Henry or Stanley. Stephanie Komure would voice Nancy. Jenny Yokobori would voice Anne or Scooter.

If I were Lou Scheimer, I would've just made new adaptations of the fairy tales and classic stories instead of the pseudo-sequels. 20 Million Leagues Across the Universe? Nah, I would've made a new animated adaptation of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.

Imagine if there was a mocap version of the Mary Shelley novel Frankenstein directed and produced by Robert Zemeckis from his company ImageMovers. How do you think it would turn out? Would it be PG-13 like Beowulf, or even R? Too bad it can't happen now because of the failure of Mars Needs Moms.

The Dude are such a great band. Their songs were everywhere in the early 2000s. Kangaroo Jack, Scooby-Doo, Splashdown, Malcolm in the Middle, Catch That Kid, Inspector Gadget 2, and those Target ads. But the strange is that you can't find much about them online.

Given the state of voice acting now, if Titan A.E. came out in the 2020s, Akima wouldn't be voiced by Drew Barrymore, since the character isn't white. 20th Century Fox would've gotten Lucy Liu, Ming-Na Wen, Kelly Hu, Karen Fukuhara, or even Michelle Yeoh to voice her.
