random thought but oh to be a baby hippo in a zoo, blissfully unaware of the millions online that coo to videos of them stumbling around and doted on by the zookeepers

I reopened and updated my shop on Friday! almost everything I have is up there now, except large sized prints/posters. 8bitsweetie on etsy!

A bunch of 8bitsweetie products from stickers and sticker sheets to keychains and washi tape and so much more stacked haphazardly around the edges of the photo, leaving an empty white spot in the center. overlayed on top is handwritten text saying "shop update & reopen 8/8".

my nephew asked me to draw Zenitsu and his messenger sparrow Chuntaro! I thought this was an appropriate illustration of their relationship dynamic lol alt caption: lil bro is getting attacked by his pet bird 😩 #demonslayer #fanart

Zenitsu from Demon Slayer covers his face with his arms and hands and cries as his messenger sparrow Chuntaro grabs a strand of his hair and pulls it angrily.

New sticker design: Gnarly sandwich, non-AI version 🔪

A flat-lay spread of stickers featuring 8bitsweetie's new design based on Katseye's Gnarly music video. The design is of a sandwich but the top bread slice is being pulled off the sandwich with stringy slime threads keeping it connected, much like a cheese pull. The stringy slime is a nauseating green color and spells the word "GNARLY". Some of the slime pools over and creates little puddles along the bottom bread slice.

she's just a girl ❤️♠️♦️♣️ I'm never shutting up about this piece that I drew for Lilac City Comic Con. #dccomics #harleyquinn #fanart

Harley Quinn squats in front of a brick wall. She winks and sticks her tongue out with a bored look on her face. Littered around her feet are spray paint cans covered in different colors, some crushed and empty. On the brick wall behind her is a collection of images and text spray painted on - "Harley Quinn", a crown, a broken heart with an arrow through it, deck of card symbols, and the Suicide Squad smiley face with Xs instead of eyes.

Mockup of my new Omori keychains! Based on the battle sequence in the game, the backside has a cheeky motif of what the character would look like when they run out of health, although one looks different than the others 🤔 These will be at Sakuracon this weekend!

wip of a Sak stamp rally prize! I'm not sure how many kpop stans will recognize this right away, but hopefully the dolphin helps lolll

A black and white, thigh up lineart drawing of a tall, dimpled Korean boy (Soobin of TXT) and a short Korean girl (Arin of Oh My Girl) standing back-to-back with their arms crossed. The boy is wearing a long sleeve, button-up shirt with a long skinny tie that ends below the belt line of his pants, and he has short hair with long bangs that just touch the top of his eyes. The girl is wearing a short sleeve, ribbed knit, collared, button-up crop top with a high-waisted, pleated tennis skirt that stops mid-thigh and has two black parallel lines along the bottom hem. Her long bangs are split in the middle to show her forehead, and she has a long bob haircut with a hairband. They are both facing the front and looking ahead. Behind them is a hairpin arch rainbow with sparkles and bubbles, including a couple of heart-shaped bubbles, placed in various places along the arch. A single dolphin is placed in a jumping pose just above and to the right of the top of the rainbow.

convention artist hot take: don't do events where the organizers don't respect artists. it just allows them to keep disrespecting us and giving us the bare minimum. a lot of attendees come to cons specifically for artist alley, so we do have some power to leverage better conditions for all of us.

year of the sssssssnek freebie stickers that I made for LNY events!

a repeating pattern of diagonally laid out 2025 Year of the Snake stickers. the sticker design is of 2 snakes, 1 of which is curled into the shape of the number "2" with its head at the top and a little tongue sticking out of its mouth, and the other of which is shaped into a continuation of the numbers "2" and "5". between them is an orange (fruit) with a couple dark green leaves coming from its stem. the orange has a red diamond on it that shows the Chinese character "fu", which means "fortune" or "good luck".

a piece I made for my friend of their OCs for Secret Santa! I tried my best to go for unique, 3-person poses to give more insight to each of their personalities, as well as their dynamics as a group.

3 human characters: On the left, a young masc wearing a cat ear beanie, with tongue out and both hands in peace signs, arms crossing body, slightly crouching with both knees bent. On the right, a young femme with spiky hair wearing sporty clothing, both arms up with wrists slack, and one leg up and out to the side with knee bent. Between the 2 and slightly behind them, an older masc in medical scrubs and a long white doctors coat, standing with arms by the side, hands in pockets. He has tousled hair and tired looking eyes and exudes "tired dad" energy. Behind the characters is random shapes in random locations across a light green flat background, the colors are all muted.
