Stepping into a gym environment for the first time since I was a teenager was pretty intimidating (some of the machines look a bit like torture devices), but I really enjoyed my first two sessions. Feeling positive and motivated. 💪

It has been years since I read a book that isn't about football. McFadden's writing style is fast-paced, with short, sharp chapters, making her work accessible and easy to consume. Not a masterpiece, but enjoyable enough that I've already started another one of her books—Never Lie.

I remember being a bit unpopular with the rest of my family because I insisted on queueing for Be Here Now while on holiday. The first band I ever loved, and one that still means a lot to me today. An enjoyable, emotional film. It's so nice to see the brothers in a good place.

As much as I enjoy anniversary screenings, they have a tendency to make you feel old. That said, and my aging body aside, watching Terminator 2 for the first time in about 20 years was a blast - it holds up extremely well.

The definition of dominance: we were in complete control throughout and only ever looked like extending our perfect start to the season. 4 games. 20 goals. 4 clean sheets. There are more difficult tests to come, but it's been a brilliant start to the season by anyone's standards.

The Odyssey is one of the most cinematic experiences I've had the pleasure of enjoying in a long time; there were moments when I genuinely felt my heartbeat racing as the incredible sound design flooded the room. I've already booked tickets to see it a second time. Phenomenal. 👏

Paid £470 (£429 factoring in my Ticket Exchange credit and Ticket Disaster's fee) to renew my Season Ticket. Excellent value, especially when you consider matchday pricing. At the same time, however, £30+ for an adult ticket in the end blocks of SSL seems a bit excessive IMO.

Second viewing of Toy Story 5 - this time in 3D. Unfortunately, I found the implementation of the technology to be pretty underwhelming. I'd recommend watching it in 2D and saving a few quid on the ticket uplift. Good movie; it's going to do monster numbers at the Box Office. 🤩

Month six of Deezer Premium. While the UI may not be as intuitive as Spotify, after spending a little while with it and curating playlists, it's good to go. The sound quality very good and the catalog is huge. Very satisfied. 👌
