I'm looking for nerds in Los Angeles who also like to go out and mingle with other nerd adults. Throwing an event this month with Karaoke, games from the 2000s (def Jam, NBA street, etc) dancing and good vibes. Comment if youre interested

My fault, if that felt like personal attack, it wasn't. There's a lot of good video game writing out there. And a lot that isn't.

I just feel like DC need to lock in on video games, Marvel is killing em right now. Just steal X-Men legends from em and do a justice league game like that and we'd DEFINITELY buy it

Arcane, you got two episodes to give the literal BEST, most kind, for the people characters of the show a satisfying end to their arc. I'm nervous, but I believe in you! #Arcane

Xbox should really be giving out 7 day trials to gamepass like hotcakes. People just need their hands on it and they'll lock in

Not true. I would play, I don't have a hero shooter. Like that's sounds good but we don't know if that's true

Ronell (8BitClosedFist) 🔜 SDCC @8bitclosedfist.bsky.social · 14/11/2024

Gameplay mechanics>>> Warframe was fucking disgusting looking to me. Still played.

Ronell (8BitClosedFist) 🔜 SDCC @8bitclosedfist.bsky.social · 14/11/2024

Cool but at the time overwatch had a cowboy. And charge 60 bucks. People aren't tired of hero shooters. That's a regurgitated take on the internet that's simply not true in real life

110

Ronell (8BitClosedFist) 🔜 SDCC @8bitclosedfist.bsky.social · 14/11/2024

Overwatch literally just had a cowboy. About as uninspiring as it gets. Massively successful because back then gamers cared about gameplay

Ronell (8BitClosedFist) 🔜 SDCC @8bitclosedfist.bsky.social · 14/11/2024

Testing the waters over here, Concord was actually a well made game with some of the best hit detection and gun mechanics in a VERY long time. It had the makings to be something great and gamers dismissing it because "not pretty enough characters"is a L for gaming. 😬😬👀👀
