I found that Joe pye weed ( ten years ago) coming out of cracks in an abandoned parking lot that the bulldozers were about to destroy. I just had to save it. That weed is on of my favorite 🌱 plants.

I intentionally grow the largest wild variety of Joe pye weed in my yard . It grows over 10 feet tall. The flower is 12” across. The monarch butterflies 🦋 ❤️ it.It is an amazing plant that comes back every year without fail.

I completely agree in his right to protest. I am the same Army master sergeant rank (retired) . I however would never disrespect that uniform by wearing it improperly. That uniform is supposed to be above any politics 670-1 His Drill Sgt. failed him. An E-8 should no better, That uniform not a prop.

Dandelions and clover 🍀 are important in the spring as the hives emerge from the winter slumber . It is also important to have diversity of 🌺 flowering plants throughout the seasons. Perennials that come and then go with a good rotation of new emerging flowers and no pesticides helps hives thrive .

Some of my 2nd year 🌷 tulips have bloomed, less than last year. I’m just glad when I get 3 or 4 good years out of them. Unfortunately the Squirrels 🐿️ sometimes do them in.
