my "I am not complicit" statement has people asking a lot of questions already answered by my statement

from the chicago tribune:
"In his social media post, Sheeran said he “spoke with the venues at length all week to try to build a bridge,” but that “the venue’s and promoter’s decision was final.”

He wrote that he tries to use his music to “bring people from all backgrounds and cultures together” and that while he has personal views about “this devastating conflict,” he chooses not to speak publicly because people who come to his shows “do not expect a political forum.” He added: “I am not complicit.”

“I respect Macklemore’s strength of purpose to stand up and shout for what he believes,” Sheeran added. “However, there is room for multiple approaches to the same end: peace. I choose to use my fame and platform to be a place of safety and sanctuary, to maintain diplomacy and keep conversations open, not closed.”"

I'm doing this as more of a lunch and it feels amazing. Good amount of energy, delicious to eat, the variety of plates feels like a treat and I don't feel stuffed or tired after. Not sure the prep time + cook time on the day is 100% worth it to continue but super glad I'm doing it this week. 🍲🍚🐟🥒🥚

Checking out scans of a Mahler manuscript and after the numbered pages (first image) there's a bunch of pencil notes in the back (second image). Cool to look at for sure and makes me think the real killer feature of sequencers and DAWs is bridging the accessibility gap and instant feedback.

The New York Sazerac is my go to cocktail and one of the few, imo, that can actually be worth using good spirits in. You can draw out different elements of the whisky and cognac. Sazerac Rye and De Luze together here have a subtle chocolatey note, for instance. Always with Absinth.
