My 9 Games For better or worse, these are the games that shaped what I think games could be one way or the other. I played FNV when I was WAY too young but without that, I certainly wouldn't have the same thoughts on RPGs I do now. Any aspiring RPG dev needs to take a college course on FNV.

Sturgill Simpson is easily one of the best rock-adjacent concerts you can go to rn Fucking INSANE. Setlist, energy, value, personality. I esp loved his stories about Seattle/Jupiter Bar in particular. 100% gonna see him again. Crazy being mere feet away.

The plan? Have in-house farmer's market stands at Ed Sheeran concerts selling tomatoes, apples, oranges and eggs at a huge markup Given how everybody's pulled out , there's a very low risk of collateral/unintended damage and you'll give the audience what they want. That's how you save the tour.

Craziest Atlas game I've ever played and I wasn't even MVP lol They really need a bonus for finishing shots or something. This is absurd. All but 2 members of the enemy team died cause of me and I wasn't even MVP over a guy with 0 kills.

VERY niche but Max from Advance Wars? Could have like mini tanks and stuff to complete the build lol

Asking for permission to bitch about my Tyr team First 5 kill game and it still wound up as a loss. Look at this horseshit. Like hell I can turn around and cap base as ATLAS too.

Just wrapped these up and WOW. 10/10. The greatest DC 12-issue in eons. World-class writing by @denizcamp.bsky.social with not a single wasted moment or character. Everything syncs, what happens in your head also happens. @javierrodriguez.bsky.social made the best comic art I've seen period.

RetroCheevs Mastery #5 - Super Smash Bros. Pretty much an obsolete game (Any Smash after is superior) but nevertheless, glad to have this history piece in my trophy case! DK cheese is very strong. Don't listen to video guides telling you to pick Kirby, DK down-b + health items beats Polygon Team.

Marcel the Shell with Shoes On is a wonderful animated film that's stylized as a documentary over Marcel, a YouTube sensation, his mother and his lost family. Had the misfortune of being released right after EEAAO but its made a single step below that in quality and that's saying something.

Choosing only 4 Criterion films is like choosing which of your children you like more but if a higher power sent me in to make a variety block of 4 Criterion films, it'd be this. So many more I could pick but man, if quarantine happened again I'd be so down for this.

Lemme give you 4 album recs for each! Starter pack p much but all of them are extremely heavy hitters. Tbh I think the Talking Heads concert film Stop Making Sense is your best intro to new wave tho. The greatest concert film ever and if it doesn't knock your socks off, the genre ain't for you.

Folks, I did another crazy comic haul. Free off a Discord buy nothing because the guy couldn't stand having Neil Gaiman in his house. Dgmw, I believe survivors on that one but I've been wanting to read Sandman for a while, I got the best format to do it with AND I don't have to give Gaiman a cent.

The Human Target by Tom King might be one of the best comic miniseries I've ever read 50s noir/whodunnit mixed with a existential overtone on death/the brevity and value of life? Both art and story is nearly 10/10. So long as it sticks the landing, its top tier. Why haven't more people read this?

I wanna tell y'all a story This is my new chest day setup, just worked out on it for the first time. Its raggedy but I got it for the price of free. Before that, I had this Amazon kit. It served me well. I'd bench press on the floor and I still do that same routine on the setup shown here.

Yes simply because of Jones' homophobia/gay-bashing. Again, plays into the theme. Gays aren't the butt end of the joke, Jones/the right is. Walk with me, this is the house across the street from the Westboro Baptist Church. Is this using gay rights as a joke or is it an act of peaceful resistance?

If you don't want superheroes, that's 100% cool too! Maus is a great biography of Art Spiegelman's dad surviving the Holocaust Ice Cream Man is a series I've been really enjoying lately, Twilight Zone anthology-style horror. Bone still holds up!

Funny how I got back into comics like 3 months ago and now I'm the go-to gay for comic recommendations for several people Anyway, before you read anything read Watchmen by Alan Moore. Read Ultimate Spider-Man by Bendis before anything else Spidey, read The Long Halloween for starter Batman.

Media reviews! Got it for $2.50 at Goodwill ages back, what a story! 9/10 with few slipups inbetween (The Shazam crossover both was way out of scope and felt cornball in the end) but all and all, there's some fantastic arcs and oneshots in here. Half A Life, Unresolved, CORRIGAN. Fantastic stuff.

Matter of fact, lets look at the ban notice itself. He was banned statewide but that somehow didn't warrant a global ban? I get it. TOs are put in a tough situation with respecting a victim's privacy but there comes a time when you need to prevent bad people from hurting others.

Welp, here I am. L4st got shitcanned, not bothering with a blogpost. Smash comm found a way to rip defeat from the jaws of victory again. The point I want to make today is about this bullshit revisionist take about how because of how "proactive", the Smash community is, it gets unfairly vilified.🧵
