A good thing for seals and seal watchers, not so good if you’re trying to swim or use the beach. California has a marine mammal protection law, you can’t get too close or disturb them in any way. Also, during pupping season, the beach becomes a protected rookery. Getting great pics is really easy!

This was some years ago Aaron, seals and sea lions have completely taken over two of the best beaches in La Jolla, including this one!

👋🙏 Hello, and thank you Javier! Yes, still hoping for rain… but hot october weather is not all that unusual. My sister and her husband used to like visiting us here in SoCal from Munich in october, and I remember days that were too hot for breakfast on the patio at 9:00am ! They loved it 😍!

#OctoberSky #Autumn #SoCal #Photography San Diego County has been sweltering in a historic, record breaking heat wave ! Finally, after 105 degrees (41c) this afternoon, it is becoming somewhat pleasant 🙏 out in the backyard ! Can’t wait for some rain !

San Diego is famous for 76 and sunny… and that’s supposed to be year round! However, we’re having a heatwave in October! Too hot out to be doing much, other than go to the beach 🏖️!

#Thunderstorm #Cloud #Photography Two hurricanes, Odalys and Polo, are currently churning off the Mexican west coast and slinging tropical moisture into California! This is causing thunderstorms to build up over our local mountains and desert, giving us beautiful skies and sunsets to enjoy 😍🙏!
