iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

“I cannot exactly tell an ordinary psychiatrist about myself. I must merely make peace with knowing I am not an exception to the madness amongst us.”

000

“You’ve shown more of your hand than you meant to. You may as well speak more. About what you’re doing, for example.”

100

“I found this line of work preferable to the life of a normal salaryman. Clearly, there is something awry in my head.”

000

A small twitch of his lip finally changed his expression, if only to express disapproval. “You’re an associate of Sukuna. That must mean you’re a Heian-era sorcerer, then.” He got an answer to ‘when’ out of her? How audacious.

100

“And I’m no exception. So if it’s not the sorcerers, what’s taking up your time in this day and age?” His expression hasn’t shifted. Nor has his posture. He’s almost robotic in his head-on questioning.

100

“I see. How has the modern era been treating you? Has it offered… entertainment?” Indirectly trying to find out what she’s been doing- whether she’s a threat, or a mere relic.

100

“You called me a modern sorcerer. So, who are you, and when do you come from?” He made no indication of hostility, but his sharp tone and squared shoulders made it clear he was prepared to resort to it.

100

“I want to know what I’m looking at. Who you are. I don’t recognise you.” His eyes narrowed suspiciously beneath his tinted lenses. “You must be one of the reincarnated sorcerers.”

100

What do you want me to do? Fight Mahoraga?

100

What would you like your obituary to say?

100

Pestering, yes. I’ve even excused myself by saying I have engagements with another, and that merely led to him inviting himself too. What an incorrigible nuisance. At least there is some pleasant company to keep us sane.

000

Well, she would not be able to do anything if Fushiguro did something as unreasonable as summoning Shikigami that fought Sukuna during the Shibuya incident, if you recall. But surely, he would never do that.

100

If he truly does do something unreasonable, I will bring you to Ieri-san if you are physically salvageable.

100

His extracurriculars are… something. And he has a knack for persuading even me into them. Perhaps the six eyes have a secret application in seeing through polite excuses?

100

He has a great deal of potential for harm. However, I have my doubts that he would kill you over a distasteful post.

100

Relatively. I admit, you appear to be the most well adjusted among us.

100

Jujutsu sorcerers are psychologically incapable of normalcy. Even I am not an exception.

230

Fushiguro is highly unlikely to kill you.

Itadori. You have sent this as a post, not searched it in your engine of choice.

I have returned from a short break for recuperation.

It’s been a while. You look well.

It’s somewhat touching to see the youth living as their truest selves, wearing their identities on their sleeves.

I think everyone lost the chance for something normal a long time ago. ( He shrugs, the invisible weight on his shoulders stifle the movement. ) What about you, then? Have you planned for retirement? Anyone in mind to keep you company?

+ Somewhere to retire in peace. ( He titled his glass in thought. ) I haven’t pictured anyone with me. I suppose… it wouldn’t be unwelcome, if I found the right person. Don’t tell me you’re volunteering. ( A small, weary attempt at a smile. )
