Today has been abysmal 🤦‍♂️ car failed to start twice (I always get it going) but can’t carry on like this. So, my #dailygratitude for 7th October is to be grateful that I’ve booked a full service and hopefully my mechanics can solve the other issues!

Israel was expelled from AFC (for very obvious reasons) and UEFA let them in. Now is the time to expel them from European football, or let Russia back in. There can’t be this double standard. Or invite the Palestinian football team into UEFA. Because FREEEE 🇵🇸

Another Green MP can only be good for democracy and it doesn’t hurt to show the new PM that he can’t get everything he wants. Very best of luck Zac, you’ll make a superb MP.

I remember my mum spending hours building the Lego town with me, when she went out the room, I smashed it up. She came back to ask what happened I said “an earthquake” and promptly deployed my Lego fire engine to search for survivors in the bricks! As an adult I own zero Lego; unsure if thats good!

3 CU&TS meet in a bar and brag to each other. One said “I bought a president”. Another says “I followed a war criminal’s advice and now the world is tipping into recession”. The 3rd follows up with “I control the president you bought for me”!

#dailygratitude 30th September - I’m grateful for living near woods and seeing the autumn colours developing. I’d normally be abroad at this time of year but caring for my mother means I’ll be in the UK for this autumn season and looking forward to seeing the beautiful colours of the woods.

Where is the outrage that 7 privileged white boys got away with attacking a young woman. Where are the gammons who are very vocal on protecting “our” girls. Thank you to Florence Pugh for using her voice to raise this issue higher and push it into our news feeds

Shocking that there’s hardly any new coverage about the disgusting attack by students at Cornell University that’s recently come into the public eye. What is happening here, I don’t want my daughter living in a handmaids dystopian world where sexual abuse is normalised.

🌞 Wednesday 23 September is the autumn equinox, at 01:05 BST. It's when the Sun crosses the equator heading south, marking the start of astronomical autumn in the Northern Hemisphere. This video shows how the Sun’s path changes through the seasons, driven by Earth’s 23.44° tilt. ☀️🌍 🧵 1/2

feckin hell, £98 for 3 quarters of a tank. When diesel hits £2 a litre it will be unaffordable to go to work! And there are no public transport options for me. The cost of having insane billionaires running countries is crushing us. FUCK TRUMP and his fucking Epstein war for Israel.

I we aren’t able to give NHS staff a gift for the care and skill they give to our loved ones why are we able to gift millions to politicians. Nothing less than an outright ban on donations to political parties will do. State funding. Read @russincheshire.bsky.social post on how we do this.
