At my writing group to try and figure out what to write for timeline. #writing #writingcommunity #worldbuilding

Is the world okay? Why are AI bruhs trying to like my posts between here and Substack? I'm not you! We don't even go to the same school. My shitty writing is better than whatever prompts you type up later because effort.

The point of NaNoWriMo is to do the work yourself. I'm not lazy.

I never had a sharpie transfer like that ever! I thought it was cool. Yes, I originally named the story Alien and then renamed it to An Alien Concept due to copyright. #writing #writingcommunity #worldbuilding #sharpie

That's exactly what I'm doing for every story I write. I only plan out what happens before the events of the book. Only up to ch 1. Everything else is improv or pantsing.

I should get my friends who are doing NaNoWriMo together for a discord chat. I want accountability. #nanowrimo

I'm working on my story for NaNoWriMo right now and looking through my notebook for the story, I see that I need to outline a timeline. Porgress! If I get the world building out now, I can focus the rest of my energy to writing. #nanowrimo #preparing #writing #writingcommunity #worldbuilding

Heyo! I'm doing weekly articles over on Substack to keep track of this year's nanowrimo. Here's my Substack if you want to keep track. It's a free sub. I'll be posting about what helps me write as well. Hope you sub and follow! #writing #writingcommunity #substack #nanowrimo

I decided to go play Pokemon GO before I go do some research into religion for my story. Just enough to inspire before doing my own thing. It's not suppose to be accurate to any actual religion.

So Ash and Maw is getting world building. It's going from a notebook to my Google Doc. I am happy to report that I'm actually doing magical items as part of it. I'm a few sections in. I just wanted to share some progress here. #writing #writingcommunity #worldbuilding

In my world building, I include ths timeline up to the first chapter. It is when I start that first rough draft is when it dives off.

To clarify, I just find physical copies are a good way to combat claims of AI use.

110 1

69SnarkySharks @69snarkysharks.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

I start in a notebook so I have a physical copy. I am just paranoid about something going wrong and I lose my hard work. I transfer it to my docs because it would be easier to add more details and characters. There's so much room for post-it notes. Plus, everyone doesn't like AI.

Advice of the day: Never put someone's self-insert into your novels and stories. They may or may not use it in a lawsuit. Be safe. Also, please date your notebooks and docs. #advice #writing #writingadvice

When looking up Perez Hilton for any type of coverage, especially on sites like YouTube and TikTok, please know there are images of him covered in blood. It's disturbing to look at and I only saw his face. I wasn't looking it up either.

Okay, I wrote something over in Snapchat about what I'm using this journal I bought for. I have decided it was for my own nonsense. Still debating if I should post its contents. I think I should make something on Wattpad and just make drafts. Then sit on the idea for a while. #wattpad #writing
