Finished up a private desk stream of trying to fix a PSP 3000 not charging via power jack. Bad news is I couldn't fix it today. Good news is it just seems to be shorting at the connector, a simple replacement, and it can still charge via USB or the other PSP. I'll order a batch for future repairs.

I still have more work to do, but the first 80% is done. The last 20% percent is pulling the overlay into the filter itself, fine tuning color interpretation and mixing, and optimization. I'm still debating if I should simulate the LCD flicker. Probably a slider, like most of the other settings.

guys, zapper is maybe a bit evil, but you can do this if you collect all the fireflies in the first world, so it's Good Actually

Zapper: One Wicked Cricket with the Insect Eye in-game "cheat" enabled, which makes your camera seven hexagonal views, all with their own piece of the actual screen render. And they're all smaller and dark at the edges.

The FM Towns is such a cool computer! A lot of Japanese PCs were just so interesting, even their micros. The Sharp X68000 is another really neat one!

This appears to be Tony Williams' own sound driver. According to the VGMPF wiki, "All games that use his sound driver give credit to Sound Images in the ROM text." And sure enough, there it is!

Also my setup for this is insane, in case you were wondering. I could just put both on the big monitor and rotate it, but this is more delightful to me.

Frank Jr. still eludes me, but I got reallllly close!! But I'm crushing it in the PBs department! New overall high score, and better round times against Texas Mac, Kabuki, and Alice & Ape III!

A pair of custom red Chucks with Sanrio's Pochacco on them. The inner has him frolicking among flowers, and the outer is him sitting and listening to a boombox. They also feature Devvy's signature black side wall and toe with white accents and back stripe. And a pink label on the back.

Really close to breaking into 500 on Asuka Normal… Just had a blocked well issue at the 400 transition, and the lock delay after was getting spicy. At 500, the timings are at their lowest, so it's mostly a straight shot to the finish. Well, until the 1000 twist. Just need to rest and practice more…

A new record of level 474 in Tetris the Grand Master 4's Asuka Normal mode. No top out, just hit the 7-minute limit.

Finally putting the set of blue and graphite pencils I've had for a while to use, along with the little dotted grid notebook. Practice sketching, practice inking. Gotta try and practice every day, even if just a little bit.

The internet comes back for juuust long enough that you start to get back into working on or watching something, and then it cuts out again. And it's a long enough dropout that things need to be coaxed back into working. Praying they're able to fix it tomorrow.

The bigger, 13-inch CRT is good for gaming, watching streams, or OBS editing previews. The smaller, 5-inch CRT I'm hoping to make my live OBS preview; it needs a better power adapter. Who knows what other uses it will find. The bottom of the stack? A not oft-used but still handy oscilloscope.

Yeah, it's the whole flex connector. It exploded and left the pins behind. I /should/ be able to desolder the old remains and put a new one on, but I'm gonna need an iron actually up to the task…

I need more skirts like this one specifically. The fabric and cut have the perfect weight and flow, walking the line between a quiet elegance and playful fun. Which you would never expect just by looking at it still, because it seems like just a plain black skirt (creasing is /not/ that visible IRL)

IRL Devvy in a knee-length, black skirt. It's a heavier fabric, not quite full, but it has a nice flow to it.
