I wish we were in a world where Orwell's writing style could set agendas but with the ride of academia and now data, I can't see it doing much. Not that your criticisms here are wrong or anything

Wouldn't have had you down as anti John Lennon. Or even Bill Hicks. Guess it shows bunched up the left is in the face of whatever is happening on the right

There are two points he makes here. One, the boomers got rich from the post WW2 boom. Two, that they did their own thing rather than follow the aesthetics the left elite were trying to impose on them. The lesson isn't that they clung to ill-gotten gains but that the riches should have continued.

Well the OPEC embargo of 1973 plausibly lead to Thatcher and Reagan, which led to where we are now. And the embargo was in response to the Yom Kippur war

Some good lines and a novel approach. But the problems! 1) Oskar Schindler rebuts her natural Nazis 2) The elitism - I only know those people from the media, not my social circle 3) Anti unionism - yet they fought fascists hard in gen. 4) P G Wodehouse a Mr A? He was a fascist.

This sounds like devolution. Wouldn't it mean that a company can threaten to move to a different electorate? And the smaller the electorates, the easier for the company to influence the MP?

Opening sentences of new paragraphs that only have pronouns (no nouns or proper nouns) are horrible in non fiction. Worse are opening sentences of entirely new subchapters like this.
