iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Sometimes I record my art processes so I can look back at them.

Anyways, I believe the last place where I am certainly going to post something in the future is youtube. I haven't post anything on there publicly, but I've been racking up unlisted speedpaints for my own enjoyment. www.youtube.com/@5wordsman

I'll still post updates here and there but idk. I literally had to log in and I got scared because OOhhhHHh scary ID verifications.

Yes, I'm still on hiatus. Honestly idk if I'm ever going to post my art here. Like I said before, social media isn't a habit of mine.

I have so much work to catch up! I'm so thankful I'm able to still do art whether that's in beaverland or kiwiland.

I haven't looked at social media for a long time but I'm finally back in New Zealand!

this sentiment is definitely applicable here

i think ppl would be a lot happier and better-adjusted on here if they realized that being online on a website is like being in any other casual public space full of people. if u walk into walmart u dont immediately think to yourself “i have to be friends with everyone in this walmart and if not everyone likes me i’m a failure” and u really shouldn’t feel that way online either. likewise if there’s a guy in the walmart parking lot shouting obscenities u probably wouldn’t answer him and that’s literally an exact equivalent to some of the weird stuff that people on here seem to feel they’re obligated to respond to.

IMPORTANT: For any artists/writers/etc etc, using Linktree to point people to their work, from 5 July, they'll be feeding all imagery you use on your landing page into DALL-E by OpenAI. I deleted my account this morning.

I'll be back if I feel like sharing stuff like In Limbo but for now just expect reposts or small comments like these.

I'm blessed to do art for a living and as a hobby. I don't need to share it to anyone but friends and family. It's a mindset I've grown to have. Whether it's a good thing or not, I've been way more happier this way.

Anyways. I'm still on hiatus for an indefinite time. I pretty much feel apathetic towards social media.

Coming out of hiatus for today to say it's my mum's birthday today! Love her so much. She deserves everything 🧡

OOH have fun!! Damn well I hope there's water at least. The most important things to bring are whatever makes you feel safe and comfortable! Idk what the venue is like but take note on where the exits+security+medical stuff are. Typical safety things and all! Of course, have fun!!!

Other than that, essentials I bring are hand sanitizer, pocket tissues, chap stick, empty water bottle (my 1L bottle is transparent+has a handle attachment) If this is an outdoor event, pocket raincoat if there is a chance of rain, and if allowed, portable phone battery charger.

Bring high fidelity earplugs if you can tho depends on how close u are to the stage/sound boxes! If you have one of those transparent small bags, they're pretty handy for a quick bag check during security!
