as expected, felt shitty and really tired the last few days. bit of numbness in fingers again, condition known as peripheral neuropathy. extremely mild, doesn't affect any motor skills. mostly just waiting out this bout of fatigue. when it starts to pass and i feel better i'ma start drawing.

that approximation i made a couple times about feeling 5% better each day is crazy accurate. sucks when you feel like garbage because it feels like it lasts forever but then when you reach a bit of a turning point it's actually really noticeable. basically i'm saying i don't feel too bad tonight.👍

the third injection really worked me over for like.. all of last night and most of the morning. wow that was painful. delaying tonight's injection to rest a bit. thankfully it's mostly eased off and i feel a lot better after eating. i slept all day which unfortunately made me feel way worse.😫

the bone aches came in as expected but thankfully they are milder, just pain and no spasms thank god. they seem to be in my ribs and pelvic bones. at least i can kinda sorta sit comfortably but changing position much makes it act up. only a couple more days of this. 😅

yeesh. same as course 3, hot nights. internal temp is totally normal but the medication has me hot. no shirt on, fan full blast, eating popsicle, sippin water, with a wet cloth on my head. last course i did up an ice pack but it was a bit much so i'm settlin for this. so hard to sleep rn.😅

my spirits were up during most of this, even with the roids running through me. never got overly moody, just sometimes bummed when buddies weren't around or when i was too sick to chat when they were. sucked sometimes. but it still takes a bit of a psychological toll for sure. i am exhausted. 😅

minimal bloating with this course. just slow digestion and indigestion from the steroids. elevated heart rate as usual, gotta take it easy for awhile until it eases up. plus side is while the indigestion is really strong i otherwise don't feel too shitty. just the usual malaise. no weakness either.

just saw oncologist. i'm cleared to take my fourth and final course of chemo tomorrow.🙏🙏🙏 said the PET scan looked "excellent", which he noted multiple times and even said it was not a word he got to use often. he was pretty stoked this morning. blood looks good, no swollen nodes anywhere.

well, started the grastofil injections again. this chemo course seems to be highlighted by general inflammation and sweats. the injections will probably modify that in some way but hopefully not too strongly. it's been awhile since i've had them so i hope they don't hit too hard. we'll see.
