This is why we must protect public education and Canadian resources that support thinking. In 2011 Doug Ford, as city councillor stated he would close a library branch in his ward "in a heartbeat". In 2019 he cut operating budget of the Ontario Library Service-North by 50%.

The news report I saw (CBC) said the passenger in question was taken off in Montreal, assessed as asymptomatic, and flown back to Paris. The plane with its remaining passengers was cleared to fly on to Detroit.
