Beautiful bird! We also have this species at the feeder daily. (Not my pic)

Red headed woodpecker...a beautiful, distinctive species: ruby red head, white belly, black and white wings.

In war games off the coast of Portugal, #UKRAINE just beat NATO in all five simulated combat scenarios, using their own drones to "sink" ships before they even saw them coming! ✌️

I had a very minor role in both Viking Mars landers plus Voyagers 1 and 2, (V2 actually launching first). All four exceeded NASA expectations but the thing that grabbed me the most was V1's "Pale Blue Dot" photo in 1990. I can still hear Carl Sagan speaking of it in his deliberate voice.

Iconic photo of Earth, as seen by the Voyager 1 space probe in 1990, from a distance of 3.7 billion miles. It appears as a "pale blue dot" in a light streak near the center of the photo.

The Public Library was my fav place as a kid. I devoured books on history, astronomy, and science. By my 13th birthday I'd read all six volumes of Winston Churchill's WWII memoirs, from "The Gathering Storm" to "Triumph And Tragedy." If you want to understand the roots of Fascism...

"Who's on 1st?" Sadly, unlike Abbott & Costello, Trump's Crazy Cabinet isn't funny.

Info for protestors to know and follow...

FROM ACLU (not verbatim):

1. No permit neded to protest in streets or on sidewalks IF you're not blocking traffic or access.

2. You can photograph anything in the open, including police.

The late Gabby Hayes would've been a better DNI than Tulsi Gabbard. SHE's a security risk, being a PoS tRump appointee.

Image of character actor and comic cowboy sidekick Gabby Hayes, who appeared in many mid-1900s B-movie westerns. He's wearing western garb including a battered cowboy hat plus bandana scarf,
has a full, white bushy beard, and is looking up to his right with raised eyebrows... overall a rather comical pose.

DS9 was a great series! As a (geek)² I was most intrigued by Jadzia Dax, the Chief Science Officer, perfectly portrayed by Terry Farrell. But her character was killed off at the end of Season 6. She'd refused to renew her contract due to a producer (Berman) she found to be misogynistic.

HISTORY FORETOLD by Abraham Lincoln, 27 Jan 1838, when just 28yo: "At what point then is the approach of danger to be expected? I answer, if it ever reach us, it must spring up amongst us. It cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher."
