Changed our cycling community forever…

Thanks @dad-diggity.bsky.social for the pack fresh Bird. Appreciate @ngtcollectibles.bsky.social continuing to host the Sunday giveaway. I recall reading about Fidrych as a kid. Tragic end to his life doesn’t diminish the smile he brought to many young fans. He played for the sheer fun of the game.

Whatever. Anyone can buy stuff with unlimited resources. If he actually got the cards signed, I would be impressed.

I was there recently and was amazed (and aghast) at how many cycle lanes end at a high traffic road. A lot of room for improvement.

Thank you @anthonyscorona.bsky.social for the Abrams & Tork Heritage cards. I passed the Tork on to a friend at work who breathes Detroit sports. I appreciate what an awesome athlete Abrams is.

Had my neighbor blow by me on the canyon at 60 mph in her blue Mercedes wagon this morning. There were 3 oncoming bikes. She didn’t plan her day well, so she decided to put 4 cyclists lives in peril.

Hey hobby fam! Time for another Sunday #giveaway thread! If you could receive one card from another #thehobby fam member, what would it be? Keep requested cards under $30 in value. Please post cards you can give, & RT to share with others. #cardsky #generosity #cards4free

Tanev charging $90 to meet him is about $200 too much.

$850 mil of public money went to help fund this waste. Socialism for Billionaires, everyone else can get a 2nd or third job to help out their families with medical debt.

Thanks much for your response. Apologies for hitting you up out of nowhere. I’ll dig around a bit and see if there is a local market for it here in Colorado.

Once again baseball, why even bother to play the season. I really hope there is a strike and it lasts 14 years.

Daniel, thanks for the thoughtful response. It just got me thinking about field hockey as an indigenous sport. This is definitely a deep article and I will give it the time and consideration it deserves.

“Vancouver women were the first to play the game of field hockey in 1896, and they formed the Vancouver Ladies’ Hockey Club, at times traveling across the Georgia Strait to play games against the Victoria Ladies’ Hockey Club.” - Are you sure about this?

Over time it’s reversed itself. When Crosby stuck ROR in the balls, originally I was against Crosby. Now, given time…I wish everyone on the Pens would have chopped ROR in the balls that game.
