And while the USA had RCA’s CED. Japan had the VHD. Again, loved the big box artwork. And there’s something about it. #PhysicalMedia #RCA #CED #VHD

I know it’s a failed format. RCA’s CED but I really love the big artwork. Looks really cool and it pops !! #PhysicalMedia #RCA #CED

I’ve been asked if I could do a comparison video for 28 Days Later 4K vs Blu-Ray. So, why not do the DVD as well. 28 Days Later 4K UltraHD Blu-Ray Video Comparison youtu.be/CDS92AeGBTQ @ultrahdbluray.bsky.social @sonypicturesuk.tumblr.com.web.brid.gy #4k #UHD #UltraHD #PhysicalMedia

Watched this evening. Throughly enjoyed the movie, as usual, and the 4K looks superb. Atmos works extremely well on some of the scenes. 😬 youtu.be/s_vBu7C4cxM @ultrahdbluray.bsky.social @warnerbrospictures.bsky.social #PhysicalMedia #MarsAttacks #Steelbook #UHD #4K #UltraHD #Horror #TimBurton

And also a couple of additions to the Super Jewel Case DVD collection. Really nice to see Species out in the wild. Again, spotless condition. And Franz Ferdinand release is a 2 discer. Although a very slim case, plenty of room for both discs, stacked. #PhysicalMedia #DVD #SuperJewelCase

Today’s new additions to the snapper case collection. Really happy to get the Live Entertainment snap case for LA Story. In great condition too. And I love The Replacements. Gene Hackman. Keanu Reeves and the hilarious Rhys Ifans. Nigel Gruff. He’s Wiry 🤣 #PhysicalMedia #DVD #SnapperCase #SnapCase

Spinning the HD-DVD of The Bourne Identity as it’s my preferred version of the movie. Less “tinkering” with the picture than the Blu and a richer colour palette. The reds are red and really pop. And the yellows are warm too. The 4k was a bit of a mess. This looks beautiful. 😍 #PhysicalMedia #HDDVD

Well. I totally forgot that I had a BD-59 in the collection. A dual layer BD-50 Blu-Ray Disc on one side and a dual layer DVD-9 on the other. These type of discs didn’t last long. Again, cheaper to press a separate DVD and BD. #PhysicalMedia #DVD #BluRay #FlipperDisc
