sorry for the weird errors earlier. just put entire thing behind haproxy to better protect against flooding and future proof the thing. tor addy now works again too, apologies :pray: http3 support will come when they fix github.com/haproxy/hapr...

If you click a favicon next to any URL, a little menu appears with a list of archive websites. It even pulls site-specific archives.. For some reason I never told anyone this feature was a thing. I was sort of hoping people would click the favicons and discover the feature. lol

okay..? google seemed to have rolled back their anti bot shit. Previously, an active google session had to be associated with an IP for the search to go through, now it's back to normal I guess? lol it could change back at any moment, but for now I guess it works ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Out of curiosity, I contacted them about the deprecation of their legacy search API... It's just way too expensive to be useful. We went from 5$/1000 requests to... Well, just read the bullshit they sent me:

Today 4get was hit by a SYN flood. @ovhcloudus.bsky.social mitigated most of it. Saw a dip in traffic but things are back to normal now. Rolled out a new config, should be more reliable now. Thank you for your patience xx
