For everybody who asked about Brick the pack goat at the festival, he's fine! He just hurt his knee and, while better, he took the chance to lose all the fat on his body and also some of the muscle, because ?. So now he has to do pt (put his feet up on things) to get extra snacks so he'll be stronk.

Breeding season is almost here... all the lambs are weaned but the girls are still too skinny. So they get grain and are very happy lol Whitey keeps getting the poops on and off and idk what to do with him anymore. Poor lil dumdum.

The rake broke. I fixed it. The mower that pulls the rake broke. Mark fixed it. Then it was dark. I spent all morning raking, took a break to do Teams calls, then started packing hay in the barn. It's pretty, not done, and I'm a potato now.

My phone is working again, but I also use it for two factor authentication so I can do my day job so I'm not unplugging it until the new one comes. So you get random pictures I never got around to sharing because why not!

1) My phone is broken - insists it is wet and thus can't charge. The sensor is just broken. 2) I put a thirty mile charger on the half mile fence that Bobbert and stepson have been climbing through. I thought it worked great but mid afternoon yesterday I looked outside and saw them in my front yard.

It's been a hot minute for an assortment of reasons. 1. Kid1 got jaw surgery. Nuff said. 2. Kevin the ram was discovered to be a psycho. He killed one of the icelandic ewes, so we put him in the freezer. 3. We found a new ram. Meet Bobbert Fluffernutter (he's very polite) 4. For once no goat drama!

So these are apparently midas flies, and they look like a cross between a horse fly and a wasp, but their larvae eat grubs and the adults just eat nectar. So go nature for keeping the grubs away from my sweet potatoes!
