And, to be clear, I am not the Tolkien knowledge holder on the team so I hesitate to start "text" convos. But the people on our team who are and must be text experts have more points about Dúnedain (humans descended from the sunken island of Númenor) and Egypt's inspiration to Tolkien etc.

Tolkien used lyrical descriptions a ton, so some take "pale" as not white-prescriptive (ie, when a character pales in comparison or pales with shock) but a general description open to interpretation.

Oof this would be an essay... the book describes him as "shaggy head of dark hair flecked with grey, and in a pale stern face a pair of keen grey eyes." People interpret the "pale" to mean white. Rangers (which he is) are also described as "Taller and darker than the Men of Bree".

Folks tanking the rating for our game (which isn't out yet) because Aragorn is depicted as a Black man. 🫠 But, if nothing else, it's too bad because their anger is gonna prevent them from playing a really awesome board game. It's their loss.

1 ratings have been deleted but it doesn't seem to change the topline rating. It is what it is.

yeah - that's something he does - goes through my feed and posts old photos of me (how creepy to keep a database of photos you think are unflattering of a woman) or says inflammatory things to everyone I've interacted with recently.

Really wish @safety.bsky.app would actually review and take action on impersonation and harassment accounts. At least a dozen accounts set up purely to try to impersonate, defame, harass, and embarass me - all reported for obvious harassment. Most still up. suzzzshellll, suzzzzshellkd...

Thank you! The team has done an amazing job. I think folks will, understandably, get caught up in the table presence. But my cube-loving heart loves the game play. The way the cards and resolve tokens work is so damn sharp.
