I've met several transgender women. NONE of them went through the hormonal hell and sometimes surgical steps because they wanted to win in womens sports. IMHO, that goal would be shallow and disrespectful.

The SS system was programmed in COBOL which has no null set. People who couldn't document a birthday are by default given an 1875 birthyear and told to go get birth documentation.

The SS was computerized back when COBOL was the hotshot programming language. The problem is that COBOL had no way to accommodate a null set, so if someone didn't know their birthday (or couldn't document it) they put a zero which needed to correspond to a date so it defaulted to 1875. End of story

I think that Uncle Joe doesn't care anymore. Sad, but understandable. He got 15 votes in 2020 from friends and family and 81 M from people who would vote for anyone vs. Trump. But he did nothing for the 81 M and blew out big bucks doing what Trump tweeted about but couldn't accomplish.
