also when i saw it on the shelf, the name reminded me of The Protomen - Hope Rides Alone so i made this as fast as possible. if i hadnt been walking as i was doing it i wouldve edited the arm grabbing into 2 arm cannon pointed at each other

my phone case makes me look so sane and normal

a picture of my phone in a mirror, flipped. it's a google pixel 6 in a black plastic case. in the center of the case, there are two layers of masking tape on top of each other, one with the words "DON'T PANIC," underlined, in shaky red sharpie writing. as a bonus for alt text: the barely visible under layer of tape has the word Normal written in black sharpie. the case itself is very beaten up. the top part of the case between the frame and the phone's camera is missing entirely, leaving the shell exposed. down the sides of the case, along the frame, there are several cracks. on the right side, one of the cracks leads into the frame and into a missing chunk of the frame's outer layer, mostly hidden under my index finger in the photo.

the phrase DON'T PANIC written in the way it is is a reference to The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, but my hope is that enough people will have not read the book or forgotten about that bit in it to not get the reference and just think that i am insane.
