Right!! When I adopted my little guys the info on their life span at the time was 15 years max, now time has passed and more research has come out, it's like 30 for the little conures. Thank you! Me too! I'm hoping their next check up is still good news.

I guess I haven't posted in a while. Daisy passed away on the 23rd of December. I was very hard on me, but also I am glad that she is at peace and no longer in pain. She was 19 years old, and a bossy bitch even in the end. I miss her.

Daisy is not well, she stopped eating. She is very lethargic and is not using the litter box at all but at least she's still drinking and urinating. I made an in home euthanasia appointment for Monday. Hopefully she makes it and I don't have to take her to the ER vet. :( Or passes in her sleep.

My cat has had kidney issues for a couple of years, and it seems that it is finally catching up to her. She is about 18 years old, I don't think she will make it past Christmas to be honest. Right now I am making sure her quality of life is good until it's not and I need to call the vet.

That's pretty scary, we have black bear but honestly they are usually too busy dumpster diving to bother people on the trail. I have run into bison sitting on the trail at antelope island, and it was similar - did my best to not disturb as I carefully found another path.

Oh wow I really like the rocks in the river, their color, their details, reminds me of some of the formations I have seen in southern Utah while canyoneering. Specifically the water canyon/zion area by Hurricane UT

Had a core memory unlock while drawing today. I drew cute chibi versions of the original senshi on the desk in my drivers ED class and fully expected it to be washed off but people actually left it for a month before all the desks got cleaned. didn't even get graffitied. (this was in the 90's)

In one of my current Pathfinder games we are currently exploring an AU of story and it's been so much fun for me. Seeing where the PCs end up in that world different choices were made has been incredibly fun. I spent 6 hours drawing AU version of my PC yesterday and don't hate the wip today.

It IS a great question. I know a trick that might help you depending on if you can be active and stuff. The VA is huge on recreational therapy for trauma processing, and I found that if I exercised after therapy it really helped. And studies show that as well. Especially if I was in nature.

I get the sentiment but I don't think it's accurate because recording companies get just as much as a cut of the money when you buy physical media as they do when you listen to spotify or buy off apple music or whatever.

Oh yeah in my experience dry wall is pretty easy to learn. It's just a pain for the bigger installations but even then not so bad. You can totally handle poultry if you can handle large parrots 100%. I think chickens and geese are so much easier than parrots.

Geese are great, it's what we used as dirt poor poverty people growing up to protect our ducks and chickens and rabbits. And they sound the alarm and wake us up or alert us.
