Finally getting around to installing the SSD drive upgrade for my EMU E4XT Ultra. It’s so much easier to transfer samples! I’m a break-beat-chopping fool! #synthsky

EMU E4XT Ultra on top of a Matrix 6R. The display on the E4XT says 503beatdown03. A removable SSD drive is visible, where the floppy disk would normally be.

A view of the inside of the E4XT. The enclosure for the removable drive and the assembly for the SCSI adapter are visible on the right.

I made some changes to the Serge modular I use as my live rig. Added a ResEQ and VCF2 in the form of Siegfried. Sounds really nice! #synthsky #modularsynth #bananas

A Serge format modular synthesizer, mounted in a flip-top mixer case. The top row is a vintage SMMS panel with a laminated paper face and black, red and blue jacks.
The second and third rows are made of Random*Source Serge modules. Some of which I assembled as DIY kits. Others were bought pre-assembled. These have black, red and white jacks, and aluminum panels.
In front of the mixer case is a Hymenium Sequencer from Prism Circuits.
There are sparse cables connected to the synth and some fax pedals in the background. In the far background, foliage from outside the sunroom.

I’ve become a big fan of CME’s H12Pro MIDI interface. Solid build, small size, lots of capability. It fits nicely under a pedal board, alongside a CIOKS psu. #synthsky

CME H12MIDI Pro mounted to the bottom of a Pedal Train pedal board. It’s held in place by a zip tie (which obscures the 2 in ‘12’), with many black cables coming from the front. One cable is braided with blue accents.

Some synths I'll be messing with during my stream today. It's gonna be a hoot and a holler!

A flip top rack with three rows of synthesizer modules. The first row is a an old paper face serge panel. The second row consists of 4 Random*Source Serge modules. Between the second and third rows there is a bunch of jack converters, utilities and trunk lines. There are a number of eurorack modules in the third row. In front of of the rack, there is a Prism Circuits sequencer called Hymenium.

A pedal board with a number of non-pedal devices. Sitting on a keyboard stand. A midi controller with colored rings around its encoders, a small mixer, Keyed Mosstone with its green plastic and gold plated touch sensors. Two wooden synthesizers from Ciat-Lonbarde, a Cocoquantus 2 and a Sidrax, with their colorful banana jacks. An Empress ZOIA pedal, with a field of multi colored LEDs.
In the background the is a mess of cables, rack equipment, cat toys and cat food bowls.
