Ideas are like meals: you can only make what you have in the fridge, and only if you know the recipe.

Sometimes you need to write “…And that’s how I solved the problem.” at the top of the page, and work backward to where you are.

You might be autistic if you can relate to common traits of both very high and low IQ people in ways most can’t

New theory: The variability in skill-sets of Autistic people naturally creates a sub-group of capable people (e.g. savants with relevant skills) who care for those in need i.e. Autism can turn tribalistic instincts into general empathy, a trait neurotypicals relatively struggle with by comparison.

“Whose image and inscription is on that coin?”, Jesus asked. “Caesar’s”, they replied. “Give to Caesar that which is Caesar’s, and give to God that which is God’s”. (Paraphrase of Mark chapter 12, verses 15 through 17)

Some people don’t know this, but Tylenol can be used to re-generate your autism from scratch. With enough Tylenol, you can gain any savant talent you need, whenever you need it.

Wouldn’t “epidemic” imply that autistics are better at “survival of the fittest” than neurotypicals anyway? Though, I suppose logic as advanced as ‘definitions’ doesn’t necessarily apply to propaganda.

I think this conversation has simplified into “is the Bible contradictory to itself?”, which I feel is a question worthy of better than my input. There are many over the last two thousand years who have made better arguments than I should claim to know well enough to debate.

In context, He means that if you’re praying while aligned with His Will, it will happen; Jesus Himself asked the Father that he might not have to die if it weren’t necessary, and yet He did. It does take a lot of elaboration to uncover the context of certain promises, however.

Christian here! We don’t (or at least shouldn’t) like this. Reason why is: Jesus wasn’t a politician, and had to debunk that idea Himself when pressured into it (the Jews thought the Messiah would become king and undo their being conquered by the Caesar)

unlikely due to the ‘to the death’ conviction of the people who would have supposedly stolen His body. Biblical prophecies coming true is another whole story of its own (I don’t remember enough to refer to specific prophecies’ evidence, outside of the many prophecies about Christ)

It *can* take a lot of work to settle on the Bible being the Truth. I generally rely on the historicity of biblical events, particularly of the miraculous events. Look into the Shroud of Turin, the Roman guards and Sanhedrin losing the body of Christ (with pro-Jesus theft of His body being

Given that autism is a congenital condition, ‘becoming more autistic’ likely involves connecting more with your values and (perhaps therefore) lessening the effort invested into repressing common signals of autism. Basically, you’re just being yourself 👍

Nuclear power is the way to go. Fossil fuels end up in our lungs, wind is dangerous to repair, and solar takes too much space to completely power everything without the heat causing storms. Better to get more bang for your buck, and store the waste underground like the rest of our trash.

As a religious person, I can understand how you feel. One of the repeating themes in the Bible is that religion without a devotion to doing what God wants is destructive, or even demonic. I’d say it’s potentially the most destructive evil; Few evils cause as much rejection of God’s plan for you.

This seems like a sibling dilemma to returning your shopping cart. One tests on creating lawful work, and the other tests restricting chaotic temptation. Both can serve as a general moral litmus test

It’s very practical long term! The waste ends up buried underground like the rest of our trash, instead of burned into the air we breathe. Safer than the maintenance accidents a thousand windmills would need to generate the same power, and doesn’t take up as much space as solar.

Naturally; neither did I say that you said they can’t coexist. My reply was just a personal addition, a statement of my own to coexist with yours. The news of a congressperson publicly confining science to the space of belief systems is disconcerting, however.
