Glenn Youngkin is the gov and he’s terrible - he needs to call for an election and will certainly manipulate that in any way he can. But it looks like the district is pretty solidly blue. 2024 election results:

Results from November 2024 election in Virginia’s 11th congressional district. The Democratic incumbent - Gerry Connolly received 273,529 votes (76%) and his republican opponent Mike Van Meter received 134,802 votes (33%).
The results are not official - Connolly was the projected winner with 99% of the expected votes having been cast.

12 years since these people were murdered. These kids should have graduated high school in the spring of ‘24. And have started job training or college or something. These are the people I mourn. And all of the other victims of school shootings. We - as a country - have failed them.

My dog was sitting in front of me a few days ago, and there was some sort of security emergency outside - possible a kid on a bicycle or in a stroller, those are red alerts. She launched off of my foot. I just realized that the bruise is the exact size and shape of her paw. #dogsofbluesky

That is hilarious. I see you have a chicken wire barrier at the bottom of your fence 😂 George never went under, so I didn’t worry about it until we got one of our current dogs - we had to do the same thing with wire for her. She looks innocent, but she’s a rascal.

He is beautiful. We had an elkhound mix - but said goodbye 2 years ago. I was thinking about him today because he loved cold but sunny weather.

Well, this sucks. Imo, this is pretty ghoulish behavior - turning it into a game and racing for a reward. Of course, this article doesn’t say anything about UHC being a terrible company that causes and prolongs suffering in order to make a profit. Because, it’s WaPo.

We said goodbye to this guy 4/23. Whenever I move furniture, I still find his fur. George fur killed two vacuums in 10 years. He was an exceptional dog and shedder.
