It kind of wraps the metahuman head around your mesh and transfers the weights, so you can have a metahuman facial rig in anything. I'd like to try it

Appreciated some Godot features for this piece: 1. You can tweak the hell out of shadows. Treat them as part of the art style. 2. NoiseTexture is super versatile for prototypes / simple stuff. 3. Subtle SSS can give even simple graphics some extra "oomf". #GodotEngine #gamedev #indiedev

I think it's not so valuable, because without looking over the player's shoulder you are reading data without the full info. I'd add it maybe to special playtest versions but not to the final demo.

The main problem in Nechromia is that running is too good in battle right now, so I think that consuming your mana(Light) might be a good compromise between mobility and resource management

Running is kind of VERY GOOD in battle, because the enemies telegraph constantly, also it can allow you to just run away from slower enemies. So I'm consuming mana when running now, needs some adjustments but I think it will work out.

So, how it's working so far: when out of battle you run as much as you want. IN battle, since running is very important for escaping enemy telegraphs, you consume your MANA(Light) when running, so you can't just run away from your problems(ha!) all the time.
