I listened to a lecture (a while back) from Harvard attorney Robert Becker who made this argument and it was mind bending: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_...

I am not sure There are cherished friends burned into my heart Maybe it has something to do with experiencing a shared vulnerability+truth together Often, it includes romantic chemistry even if never acted upon physically the bond feels permanent Maybe it’s a hopeful door kept open, wanting for more

This resonates… But is it not also true that some bonds feel permanent and indestructible? Where years can flow by relaxed, without seeing a cherished friend, and then there they are, suddenly, back in your life. And it feels as if no time has passed…

maybe the analogy is more akin to replacing horse carriage drivers w/ commercial truck drivers..related to that, I was following (for a little while) a push to fully automate trucking w/ self driving tractor trailers + it seemed to pause+ was not deemed safe... is that related to your research?

BabySwiss @284-220.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
Do you really feel this way? Are you sure because people not in my industry ask me if I feel the way you do -and if anything, the demand for our human teams has expanded where we rely more on this technology in our work... I don't immediately see how advancements in AI will replace humans...

"Convergent morality" does sound interesting -is the intention behind designing+testing these cultural social media "aggregators" to experiment w/user perceptions of a human virtual witnessing space to see how effective these online spaces are at shaping (or distorting) these cultural convergences?

(referring to your banner) I am impressed you hiked Laguna de los Tres in El Chaltén...what a sublime part of Argentina that connects to Chilean Patagonia, their gorgeous Fjords and back across the Argentinian frontera to Tierra del Fuego... good to experience as many as these treasures as you can..

what a weird monochromatic+ jerky aesthetic in this video... I picture this filming happening in some cheap stage set in kreuzberg w/ "danger" dan lip syncing his agent provocateur lyrics whilst miming the repetitive chord playing on his keyboard... null angst null angst und ein bisschen albern ...

we recently filmed with a pack of "militarized" robot dogs on the movie I've been working on ... this robo-lobo pack tipped and slipped a lot on the polished set floors...was unintentionally funny....they were meant to look menacing in this post apocalyptic future world of surveillance...

wow...so it would seem the US strategy (by this open and notorious chess move) is to adversely possess sections of Greenland whilst "letting" the Danes administer a semi autonomous Nuuk (that I suspect will soon float a referendum to Grexit from the Danish Realm) ...

Do you discuss Nordic culture? eg, I live sometimes in Copenhagen were attentive neighbors once followed me (as I swam) out on a little boat into the harbor in December out of concern I would drown from hyperthermia+they accompanied me my whole swim back, playfully scolding me+then we became friends

I think of when in dreams, when our subconscious rejects stagnation+ seeks the expansion of an overly rigid+delimiting belief system, where one dreams of a house whose structure is demolished+consumed by fire...do you imagine these areas will later be rebuilt+ returned to Lebanon, like in the Sinai?

but for the output to be " useful and reliable enough" it must be verified... which then implies knowing how the verification of the output (reliably) works (in order to trust it...no?

I suspect in 5 yrs we will create films in much the same procedural ways as we do today -but the technology behind editing+vfx will improve+budgeting+ scheduling will become much less labor intensive...but I wonder how will AI influence/bolster/impair/distort the imaginations of future generations?

I hear you, but in my industry the implementation AI does not seem to be eroding skills, it's the opposite...the AI is bolstering our highly skilled technical work (on films)... that said, many of us are from Gen Z-X where formal education was largely pre internet-to early smart phone...

this output is interesting to see visually and I learned a new word in cryptographers parlance: Freshness? (what does that mean? +how funny) (from Gemini: In cryptography, freshness means knowing that a message, key, or session is genuinely new and was not intercepted and replayed by an attacker.)

Very interesting ideas...I work on films where we collaborate in large teams where we are "in alignment" that it's generally okay that we work "not in alignment"...but we work in supra-alignment/compliance w/ legal jurisdiction+work safety laws (which allows for interior chaotic/shifting alignment)

Very curious about how to correctly describe/visualize how online voting and electronic bulletin board would look (if portrayed in a film)... is there a physical prototype (interface) available to look at?

I remember seeing this film shortly after I was expelled from a strict catholic boarding school run by hyper-vigilant French nuns (Société du Sacré-Cœur) -did you know WB is re-releasing "the devils" directed by Ken Russell?...I recently saw his film Billion Dollar Brain+ was super interesting...

TY.. this is not a documentary -we are developing an episodic series (based on some real events)+ aren't ready to send episodes (rewriting phase)(not ready)... but we can send an NDA+ outline of cryptography covered -creatives also a little quirky+neurodivergent (sensitive) +concerned about leaks...

Also keenly interested... Did you find flaws in the Tamarin prover+ is this something that one could visually animate? We make a quick reference to Tamarin is a b-story arc...we animate footnotes throughout the episodes...we were kind of floored to see your Tamarin post- was totally unexpected

I mean there is some truth to this in the sense we are making this up... literally these scripts are being revised using our imagination to work them out .. out of thin air...

is this "arguing" a form of gaslighting? It would be unpleasant (as a human) to turn to Gemini w/questions+ for Gemini to be trained to gaslight...I googled you btw..small (real) world. as one of my offices is by metrotech...Have u noticed the empty commercial bdlg (for years) on Flatbush/Metrotech?

I wonder how the intentional mirroring styles and distortions (positive or otherwise) compare between western LLMS and well, eastern LLMs (Yandex GBT, PersianMind, Deepseek) ...I wonder about the impact of intentional mirroring when LLMs mirrors messages of conformity, self sacrifice+ repression...

BabySwiss @284-220.bsky.social · 04/08/2026
I think about this too and how it relates to human interaction as when humans interact in person and naturally gesture forms of mirroring with one another when showing respect and keen interest... Gemini seems thoughtfully programmed to inject a positive+ empowering style of mirroring...

I just google AI'd "Magicall"-it sounds really interesting... wish I could have tried it... one of the projects I am working on (in development) is pre-visualizing principles in cryptography as part of the storytelling...main characters also use visually interesting encrypted communication tools...

IDK any official left position is on AI... but there is a lot of reality testing happening on physical production on films where we use AI tools to speedup budget scenario planning+ previz- our human teams seem to grow+ we work with big expensive sophisticated camera equipment -it's exciting work..
